Dr. David Charles Mishkel, MD

Just when you think things can’t worse at this office….they do!!!! He let my husband go an entire year with a terrible stress test! If he didn’t need clearance for knee surgery, he still wouldn’t know how bad his heart was….the dr. Asked,”Didn’’t someone call you?” Dr. Mishkel you are the dr.!!!!!! He let me go 2 years with an aneurism and never told me!!!! A hospital stay found it!!!!! He said he knew about it for 2 years and never told me!!!! Omg…… I believe he has hardening of the arteries!!!!!

Dr Mishkel is a terrific physician. He is knowledgeable, caring and uses the full back of cardiac tools to make his patients well. In fact, Dr. Mishkel saved my life. After a stress test which was a bit abnormal, he proceeded to a nucluear stress test with results the same on the EKG (but the photos were not conclusive); he gave me a choice, though he was convincing that I needed a cath for exploration. I did the cath through my right wrist and he found not only a blood clot but an artery 95% blocked....so stent placed. It has now been a week and I am feeling fine. As importantly his staff and Dr Mishkel have called to check in on me and provided an important 3 days later to go over the results of my proceedure and check me out to see how i was feeling. I have complete trust in Dr. Mishkel and highly recommend him.

I have great confidence in Dr. Mischkel's medical ability, as well as his listening and empathy. I have seen him over a period of time, and have seldom had the least quibble with his treatment of me. To top it all off, he has a good sense of humor!

I was referred to go here by my PCP....I called today to make an appointment and Sabrina answer the phone and was extremely rude. People like her should never be allowed to work at the front desk of a doctor’s office!!!! No manners , no education at all!!!! A second person, didn’t identify her self, rude as well.... Not only until my Insurance Company had to call them, a third person , JJ, was very nice and booked my appointment. Customers deserve respect and deserve quality and deserve people that know what they’re doing.... It’s a shame for great doctors to have such bad luck with this individuals working at the office...

I just underwent two operations which required me, because of my hx, to have an IVC filter placed. Dr. Mishkel was concerned about the amount of time elapsed between placement and removal of the device, which occurred yesterday. He contacted my radiologist and questioned the procedure, after which the two had a contact based on the successful removal. This is just a vignette about Dr. Mishkel's ongoing thoroughness of my care and involvement in my overall health. The delay in remarks below had to do with an emergency before my last visit.

Arrogant with no patience, no bedside manner! Drugs prescribed caused another hospital stay!

I recently called Dr Mishkel's office to make an appointment. I was happy to be seen the next day. The office was very efficient, and the staff was super nice. They answered all my questions, and gave me a print out of my visit. The Doctor listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I will highly recommend him.

This physician has given me so much of himself, in the outstanding care and kindness that he gives.

Dr. Mishkel too care of my father for several years and handled his case well. When it was determined that my Dad needed to have oxygen, it took his staff a full week to order it - I called the office each day to inquire and his front desk girl was very rude and told me she'd take care of it when she had time! we had to go to our primary to have him provide him oxygen immediately. In addition, they lost quite a few of my Dad's records that we needed when he had surgery performed.

Both my husband and I see him as our heart doctor. He is very thorough and modern - he uses his computer a lot and analyzes test and blood work - he spends quite a bit of time looking at your test results.
