Dr David Michael Montes

CT scan revealed a screw in my mental foramen. Just got home from hospital where a trauma surgeon removed the left mental plate. Beside the screw pushing into my mental nerve there were two other screws poking through my gums and as a result of your surgery, I had to have ANOTHER septoplasty. The previous one that was done BEFORE you touched my face, was destroyed. I had to be a donor to myself to replace the cartilage. You really messed up my face and I think they need to remove your license to practice surgery!

Dr. Montes is an arrogant, hack doctor who promised my mom the sun and delivered her death. The ICU doctors at St. Vincent & the Acute Care Hospital were upset with the results of his surgery. After two surgeries that were meant to fix her necrosis of the jaw, her tongue detached so he repaired her & then sent her to acute care on a ventilator & abandoned her as his patient. One doctor actually told me if this were his mother he would be outraged. I hope his privileges have been revoked or at least in question. He is not an MD & I wish we would have known that at the start. My suggestion, go to Cleveland Clinic.

Living with horrible burning lip pain. Apparently mental nerve is touching wires of surgery site he did on me. Words cannot express. Lidocaine patches, nerve blocks. I wish I had never trusted this man!

Dr Montes is a hack and he needs stopped!! He severed my Mom’s spinal accessory nerve during an unnecessary neck dissection. He knew immediately what had happened, or it he didn’t ansimple Google search would’ve told him, yet he lied and denied, sending us on a goose chase to find someone to tell us what was happening. By that time her trapezius had atrophied and she need major reconstructive surgery, an attempt at repair was too late after 18 mos it took us to find docs to help. During the attempted repair they found a surgical clip attached to the severed end of her mangled nerve, buried in a neuroma!! He left a surgical clip on a nerve that was to be identified and isolated as to not cause damage to it, bc the outcome is catastrophic and causes huge tolls and sentencing her to a LIFETIME of pain! He needs to not be allowed to hurt any others, his medical license need yanked!! Run! Go anywhere else!! He’s not an “expert” in ANYTHING other than maybe teeth extractions! Leave Montes!!… Indiana doesn’t want you!! No matter how appealing our low insurance requirements are and how little it costs him even if sued!! Indiana law needs to change or will continue to attract the riff raff like Montes!! ??

Dr. Montes advanced my jaw. I sustained permanent nerve damage that hasn't gotten any better since the 2015 surgery. My neurologist tells me the damage is permanent. I have to wear lidocaine patches on my face and go for nerve blocks to take the edge of the pain. Run as far away from this surgeon as you can. he's a monster!

This office is very unprofessional and doesn't return your phone calls. Dr. Montes did a jaw surgery on me which increased my pain and then the office refused to see me and said there was nothing else they could do for me!

Hack!! Run!! Buyer beware! Mom is in her 5th reconstructive surgery to repair what this man did!

Dr Montes did an exceptional job with my MMA surgery. I highly recommend this surgeon!

Had an appt set up, called to confirm the time 3 times no answer, ACCIDENTLY missed appointment, tried to reschedule, they said they don't deal with patients if they miss an appt. Pretty ridiculous, good luck staying in business with this hard headed approach.
