Dr. David Javid Najafi, MD

Dr Najafi is a lovely person and knowledgeable physician. His staff are equally kind & helpful, but no joke, I was there for two hours. As a busy parent, the wait was a little hairy since I don't live close. I would recommend he hire a mid-level or another Dr. to decrease wait time, otherwise I would highly recommend him to anyone needing an opthalmological subspecialist.

I have never been in the office for less than two hours. I frequently sit on the floor as there are not enough chairs in the tiny waiting room. Dr. Najafi did surgery on one of my mother's eyes for macular degeneration. When she shortly thereafter lost complete vision in that eye, Dr. Najafi just said he was "baffled". To be fair, my mother's ophthalmologist told me he sends his own mother to Dr. Najafi because he is the best. It is very hard to stay upset about the wait, because the staff (including Dr. Najafi) is so friendly.

In my opinion, he is the BEST retina specialist doctor in the Southern California. He is not only very knowledgeable and very professional but also caring and compassionate with his patients.

Dr Najafi is the best Doctor that you can ever have.Very human very charitable very sweet and humble Extreemly professional. He saved my mom's vision I thank God every day that my mom was able to spear her vision with such a wonderful doctor.God bless you Dr. Najafi

I recently had a retinal detachment and lost my vision. I called Dr. Najafi's office and his staff was so caring and personable. Dr was not in but staff got in contact with him and he met me after hours and did surgery that night. Amazing service, I highly reccomend this Dr.
