Dr. David Keith Ornstein, MD

I consider my experience with Dr. Ornstein to be a lifesaver. I had learned I had prostate cancer from my urologist Dr. David Harris. After discussing all possible treatments I was agreed to have a radical prostatectomy surgery. Dr. Harris has recommended Dr. David Ornstein as the best doctor in my area with extensive knowledge and experience in robotic da Vinci surgical systems. And I want a doctor who has done many of these operations and has a great reputation and educational background. Dr. Ornstein is one of those few doctors. The first time I met Dr. Ornstein was on December 11, after a short conversation Dr. Ornstein recommend to remove my cancerous prostate ASAP and explained all expectations after surgery. He has put me on schedule for Dec. 21 at NCH Baker Hospital in Naples. My surgery was done excellently; I was released from the hospital the next day. Post-surgery condition wasn’t so easy but it was expected and discussed with the doctor before. Dr. Ornstein was… communicating with me on the phone and text and responded to all my questions and concerns. I fully trusted his expertise, he did not let me down. He saved my life. Thank you.

Very bad experience, this doctor has no ethics, he does not explain anything, he does not look at your face, he is super rude, he does not have a bit of humanity, his assistants never answer the phone, it is impossible to communicate with them, as a result of their negligence, my husband ended up in emergency

I also learned that when it comes to robotic surgery, you want a doctor who has done many, many of these operations, and has a great reputation and educational background. Dr. Ornstein is one of those few doctors belonging in the "expert" category in his profession, in my opinion. I say this almost six months after my successful prostrate surgery. I was a snowbird in Naples recently not knowing any doctors when I experienced a severe pain on my right side for several weeks. Finally saw a doctor who required a ct Scan. She called me with the results and immediately referred me to the best, Dr. Ornstein. I had a 3.3 centimeter tumor on my left kidney. Dr. O highly recommended surgery within 2 weeks. I was freaking out, scared out of my mind and unsure of everything. After speaking with Dr. O and his assistants I felt reassured and confident that they were the best. I consider myself very lucky to have had this health problem in Naples and to have had the good fortune of meeting Dr. O. Everything went exactly as I was told and now 2 months later I am so grateful and thank him and his great staff for their expertise and professionalism. Recommend him highly.
