Dr David Palaia

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a rhinoplasty/ septoplasty back in 2019 and he had told me that he wasn’t able to lift the tip of my nose. He convinced me that it would be impossible so I continued with surgery (silly me). A year later I had went back to him and told him I was having trouble breathing. He didn’t even look up my nose and told me I should just go see an ENT that there was nothing he could do for me. After paying THOUSANDS of dollars that was NOT the response I was hoping for. After going to an ENT he referred me too.. the ENT had told me to go back to Dr. Palaia for a revision. After the back and fourth I was so upset and felt very pushed off by Dr. Palaia, I decided to find another surgeon to do my revision. Well, let’s just say… I am BEYOND happy I chose another doctor for my revision and I wish I had chose him in the first place. My new surgeon told me I was 97% blocked on my left airway and he wasn’t sure why Dr. Palaia told me I should see an ENT instead… of having a revision. My new surgeon WAS able to lift the tip of my nose and I am BEYOND happy with the cosmetic results. I would never ever recommend Dr. Palaia he is rude, standoffish and NO bedside manners at ALL.

As I write yet another review! Dr. Palaia is just the best. He has now done two surgeries on me in the last two years. Surgeries that had to be done. Now for my face. This time I had this bump on my face. Started about a year ago. Didn't really pay too much attention to it since I was in the middle of having two surgeries I needed to concentrate on. Needless to say we all know what happened starting in 2020. The Corona Virus. That being said, this bump was the last thing on my mind. In May I decided I really needed to get this checked again. I went back to my long time dermatologist to see what he thought. We both agreed it had grown. Of course no one will ever touch my face or body except Dr. Palaia. I made my appointment to have the in office surgery to remove it. I had no idea what to expect. I'm not one of those people to read about procedures online. Okay was a little worse than I thought. I thought it was just a little cut and a little tiny bandade. Nope a little more than… that!! Dr. Palaia did everything just right. Took the growth out & the right amount of margins to make sure I was safe. He called me today & told me it was a Basal Cell Carcinoma and the margins were clear. Yet again Dr. Palaia did a wonderful job. I am, & always will be so grateful for his talent, professionalism and kind approach. If you are reading this, I promise you are in the best hands ever with Dr. Palaia.

I had 30 year old implants that were both a grade IV contracture (As hard as a bowling ball). I had lived with the contracture and pain through a pregnancy and 22 years after, in fear of another surgery! Was so worried this just couldn't get fixed. As the years went on I did so much research that I knew I had to find the right Dr. to help me. I went to Dr's in New York & out of State. Mind you having seen Dr. Palaia as well. This went on for about 4 years. I always went back to Dr. Palaia. He never minced his words, never painted an unrealistic picture and remained true to his word. It wasn't what I always wanted to hear yet it was what he knew would be the best outcome for me. So we agreed to disagree. Fast forward to 2018 I made my decision thanks to Dr. Palaia. What a patient man he is. After seeing me for several years I was ready. I was so done being so uncomfortable. This surgery had to be done in stages. I'm only 5-5 & about 120 pounds. My implants were over the muscle and my… skin was very stretched because of the capsule. My implants were removed & I was given a lift to try to shape my breast the best he could. I was left with very, very little breast tissue because of the awful capsule that was removed. I woke up with drains to prevent an infection or hematoma. Really wasn't in much pain at all & actually felt so relieved to not have these bowling balls sitting on my chest. Over the next few months I felt great! Yet I had a hard time looking at myself in the mirror. I realized I needed to do something to feel like a woman. I waited an entire year to make sure I was completely healed and because of my faith & trust in Dr. Palaia I was able to revisit something that has seemingly caused me so much pain for so many years. *Ladies this is so important to read if you happen to be in the same position I was in. You absolutely do not have to live with it. About the same time as 2018 yet now in 2019 off I went to have an implant put in. I of course left it all to what Dr. Palaia thought would be best. I was scared about going under the muscle. Just seemed painful and was worried how it would look. Surgery went well and I came home the same day. Felt no pain at all! Didn't take one pain pill, drove myself to my post op a week later and feel amazing. Wow I can not even begin to express how grateful I am to Dr. Palaia. I look in the mirror and it's not even two weeks post op yet. I cry....I look wonderful. Please should any of you reading this want to speak with me, etc. I've told the office I'd be more than happy to. If your reading this and from out of town. Believe me when I say, you will not find a better surgeon anywhere. I was such a complicated case and what he did for me is beyond words, truly.

I was very nervous initially when I was considering having this blepharoplasty done, but Dr. Palaia made me feel confident in his abilities and addressed all of my concerns. He explained all aspects of the surgery to me and what to expect afterward. His staff was very welcoming and I never had a long wait time. I could not be happier with the result of the surgery. He has absolutely mastered the art of plastic surgery. I would definitely recommend him to any friend or family member. -Danielle

I have had three corrective cosmetic procedures over the years. Dr. David Palaia of Mt. Kisco, New York, performed the last surgery. He is in a different league than my prior surgeons. Dr. Palaia listened to me and truly cared about me as a person. Post-surgery, Dr. Palaia and his staff were always available to answer my many questions while recuperating. I am thrilled with the outcome and so glad I chose Dr. Palaia for this procedure.

I consulted with several surgeons for my breast reduction and none came close to comparing with Dr. Palaia. He took time to explain exactly what he was going to do, answered all my questions, and was generally reassuring. He is very thourough, talented, and careful. I am thrilled with the results of my procedure. At the hospital, the nurses kept telling me how he is the best. One went so far as to go on about how he is a true artist...not just with his surgical skills, but he sculpts! I am so incredibly happy with my choice! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Palaia is an excellent plastic surgeon. I have spent many years wanting to have a "mommy makeover". I was fortunate that a friend who recently had work done referred me to Dr. Palaia. He is patient, understanding and truly knew the results I was looking for. He was very realistic about what needed to be done, and was dedicated to giving me the exact changes I was seeking. I am thrilled with the outcome of both of my procedures. His staff is also fantastic, and will be there for you before, during and after the process is complete.

OMG....even I can’t believe the results. I love saying it "I LOOK FANTASTIC"! I was hesitant at first about going under the knife. I consulted with 3 doctors and went with Dr. Palaia. He was confident which made me feel comfortable and had a great reputation plus he worked out of a hospital and not an off-site facility. I took the bandages off after a week and couldn’t believe my eyes. It's like a lost 25 years. Minimal scars up and around in only a week. I'm over the moon happy.

I was not only satisfied with the outcome, but also with the service. Dr. Palaia and his staff were very friendly. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns before the surgery. I was impressed with how well he followed up with me after the surgery; making sure everything was going well with my recovery. He is an excellent and caring doctor. I would highly recommend him!

IT IS TRULY DIFFICULT TO FIND THE WORDS TO FULLY EXPRESS HOW AMAZING I FEEL AND HOW HAPPY I AM WITH MY NEW YOUNGER LOOK. DR. PALAIA AND HIS STAFF ARE EXTREMELY KIND AND THEY MAKE YOU FELL VERY RELAXED. DR. PALAIA DID AN AMAZING JOB WITH MY FACE LIFT AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. IT HAS ONLY BEEN 3 WEEKS SINCE MY SURGERY AND I HAVE HAD VERY LITTLE BRUISING. i WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. PALAIA TO ALL MY FRIENDS AND RELATIVES, SOME ARE ALREADY MAKING AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET WITH HIM.
