Dr Pedowitz was very thorough and patient with me for 2 appointments regarding unexpected severe pain with walking 2 years after complicated ankle surgery. He and his Fellow spent an extended amount of time to help me sort out and understand the problem as well as make a difficult decision re: next steps. I see folks complain about wait time etc…… I have been with Rothman Foot and ankle since Oct 2020, and can’t emphasize how much all providers I’ve met are worth the wait. It is a very busy practice, but Dr Pedowitz provided genuine, honest and straightforward information . I never mind waiting for a provider that gives such patient centric care. I am very grateful for his care and guidance.

Dr Pedowitz performed an extensive surgery on my ankle. He thoroughly explained the procedure before and after my surgery. He took the time to listen to my concerns and reassured me that he could help relieve the pain Iwas experiencing. The surgery went as expected and I can’t thank Dr Pedowitz enough. Excellent staff from the check in to X-ray to Assistants.

Absolutely horrible. Never really listened to a word I said. Just grabbed my ankle and kept forcing in positions I can't do due to swelling and injury. I was screaming and told me I was just protecting it and not in pain! Walked out of his office completely in pain and upset! I went for second opinion. 4 different image studies suggested major soft tissue damage. He never even review imaging that was brought for him.

Ankle replacement became infected after a follow up surgery to remove bone. Multiple surgeries caused an open wound. 3 skin flap surgeries and a fixator surgery. I now have a fused, non bendable ankle and pain everyday after a lot of money spent and multiple surgeries. Biggest mistake I ever made.

Dr. Pedowitz is very thorough and explains in detail his plan. He is also very patient with answering questions and being frank with his answers. In my case he wants to hold off on surgery as long as possible relative to my pain level and degree of efficacy of the cortisone shots.

Entire staff is professional and courteous.
