Dr. David Paul Pingitore, PhD

Dr. Pingitore is hired by companies with no regard for employee well-being to give them the result they want to force employees into situations that degrade their health. He uses snap-shot assessments and biased methodologies to build correlations without engaging with the patient. Basically, you feel as if there is no point to even trying to seek help, because he decides what you are feeling for you. How does that work? He is telling me how I should feel? He gaslights through the "assessment." He puts patients who are suffering and scared through hell. He is a "check the box" "assessor" who doesn't have time or cares to truly understand a patient. That's not his job. His job is to treat patients like widgets, use biased assessments he uses for people with traumatic brain injuries and inmates, to tell companies what they want to hear. He is dangerous. So are the companies that hire him. Employees matter.

Dr. Pingitore is confounding, and often seemed confused. I went to him for psycho-sexual counseling, which was court-ordered. After interviewing me for several hours on two occasions he wrote a report that was so full of inaccuracies that it adversely affected the outcome of my legal entanglement. You don’t have to believe me about this, because, to his credit, he did eventually admit to almost all the inaccuracies I pointed out to him, but which for some purposes was too late. So the fact that he paid inadequate attention despite his big fee is part of my complaint. Another part is that even though it was I who engaged him, and paid him, that part way through this process he stopped communicating with me in favor of only communicating with the court, which further impacted my result… Thus, I was not even able to see and address the inaccuracies until I had provoked a great deal of rancor with all the parties involved. This was very wrong: how can a person dispute findings he is cut… off from reviewing? What he did send me was amalgam of my report and someone else’s – to further the claim to confusion. (So don’t let him do this to you). Finally, though he gave me assurances that he would make one particular recommendation for my additional counseling, in his final recommendation to the court he extended the time period for it drastically– based on a review of his notes which contained the inaccurate findings. He later repudiated them, as I said, but the gravity of these facts was severe enough to make an enormous difference. I do not believe he is a bad man or a devious one, however.
