Dr. David Frederick Pohl, MD

Dr. Pohl was my pulmonologist. He was excellent! He came to the Hill Country every week. He was consistent, knowledgabl and affable. I enjoyed going to him and trusted him in all respects. I use to live in Austin and I think there is no one better in Austin or the hill country. I am a 78 year old woman with asthma which he diagnosised.

After four years of regular ER visits and one five day hospital stay, was referred to Dr. Pohl. I'm now into third year of managing Asthma without a single crisis. Dr. Pohl has been a God send for me. In every aspect from bedside manner to effective treatment, he truly is "The Best Ever".

Dr. Pohl is easygoing, direct, doesn't scare you. But he does not pull punches on what he sees. His staff are usually very pleasant and helpful, but sometimes they seem to be a little rushed. I wish he used a little bit more technology, like online appointments, but I understand that may not be feasible for this practice. I did not know how to rate him on follows up after visit. So far, there has been no need for him to follow up with me.

The doctor is professional. The staff - rude, unprofessional, and at this point make excuses for not scheduling my appointment. I am disabled and I believe receptionist discriminates against me for this reason.
