David Brian Rafferty, MD

Besides being a dedicated provider, Dr. Rafferty is a sports fan, a family man, and a pet lover. At Intermountain Health, Dr. Rafferty specializes in pediatrics. He likes being involved with preventive care and highlights the importance of immunization, proper nutrition, exercise and adequate rest for children's health. Dr. Rafferty enjoys building relationships with his patients and their families and establishing a rapport with them. In his free time, Dr. Rafferty enjoys a multitude of hobbies. He is an avid sports fan and likes watching both NBA and NFL games. He also enjoys staying active through exercise. Dr. Rafferty especially likes volunteering to help the homeless and families in need. Dr. Rafferty owns a cat but says he equally loves dogs as well. Dr. Rafferty received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas San Antonio and his MD from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency at the University of New Mexico Hospital and is …board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Rafferty speaks some Spanish in addition to English and can help patients who speak either language.
