Dr. David Brian Raley, MD

When we first started seeing Dr. Raley, he was excellent. Everything was great until he found out we were homeschooling. After that his entire demeanor changed. I have appreciated his availability and he is very nice to public schoolers, but I feel I should warn anyone who homeschools. I hung on for a while because I felt he was knowledgeable and available, but I’m all done.

I love the fact that we can use an app to make our appointments and communicate directly with Dr. Raley. I knew 3 parents waiting for doctor’s offices to open to see if they could get in. I felt a little guilty to say I booked mine already. My daughter was seen, diagnosed, and starting treatment - what a peace of mind! Thank you for taking advantage of technology for better patient care! 14 ½ years with Raley!

Our family has been with Dr. Raley for 12 years, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr Raley ROCKS. He will tell you straight up what you have and is always right on the money! I take all 3 of my kids to him. And I can also say that I am a physician and can medically tell you he is a genius! Very smart and has always treated my kids perfectly! Thanks Dr Raley!!!

First of all, Dr. Raley's office is very tech savvy. They have an online appointment where you can make appointments, keep track of past appointments and vaccination dates, as well as ask questions to Dr. Raley and his staff. In my experience, I have gotten a reply from questions I've asked almost instantly. They are also very good about returning phone calls. I never have to wait very long in the waiting room or the patient rooms, and if we get to the appointment a little early, they will see us as soon as they can, which is nice. Dr. Raley is knowledgeable, and always seems to have an answer and is able to cite rencent studies on the subject you are asking about. Last year, my then 9 month old (who was an avid crawler, and pulling up) stopped crawling all of a sudden, and would just cry and cry. We couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. I sent Dr. Raley a message through his web portal, and replied immeidately telling me to bring her in. He saw her that same day. He told us… immiediately that he thought something was wrong with her hip joint, and sent us to the ER. It turned out that she had a bacterial infection that attached her hip joint, and it was pretty serious. She ended up staying in the hospital a week. The whole time we were in the hospital he was sending me text messages to see how our baby was doing, and was really helpful in translating what was going on. He was also in constant contact with the attending physician at the hospital. I don't know of very many doctors that follow up so much! You can tell he legitimately cares about his little patients. The ER and Hospital doctors told us that waiting to treat this type of bacterial infection could have resulted in serious and permanent damage to her joints, which could have ended with osteoperosis at a young age. I really credit Dr. Raley with knowing what was wrong, and getting us to the ER immediately. I hear horror stories all the time about little ones being misdiagnosed or undiagnosed, and I am so thankful that Dr. Raley gave an accurate diagnosis. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Raley and his staff. They even make HOUSE CALLS! Seriously, Dr. Raley and his nurse came to our house to see our baby after she got out of the hospital to do a well check. Amazing!

obnoxious ,poor bed side manner and full of attitude.He thinks he is the best.God forbid if you disagree with him He will let you have it.

Stay away from this money hungry M.D even have signs in rooms not to ask even a question about your other child without appt Always make you feel dumb and himself a superhuman Turned away from him after 2 yrs and found a very warm and caring doctor for my 3 kids God bless him with wisdom

We've used Dr. Raley for a few years and I still go back and forth with him. I agree that his bedside manner is not the greatest. The last time I took my child in, he walked in the room and quietly said hello to my son and then sat down at his computer and started typing notes. We sat in awkward silence for several minutes. Then he checked my child and gave me his diagnosis. He asked me what pharmacy I used and said "that'll make you feel better little guy" and was out the door. Didn't tell me what medicine or how to administer it. I felt very rushed. There are also times when we go to him where he's very nice and talkative. It must just depend on his mood for the day. I also feel like some of the jokes/content he puts on his blog is not appropriate or professional for a dr. Maybe some people like his "real" approach at technology, etc. But I'd rather have a dr. who focuses more on professionalism. That being said, he seems like a good enough dr., but not the best at communicating.… I'll probably be looking for a new ped soon.

Dr. Raley has a horrible bedside manner and I also found him to be very rude as many others have. I took my child out of his care after several bad experiences with him. He says things that no doctor should say and I have seen many others state that as well. I really never rate doctors because I don't usually believe in writing negative things about someone that could affect their business or reputation, but I feel like these comments are warrented and necessary.
