Dr. David Elliot Reece, DO

Had an appointment at 1000 on 5/15/2025 with Dr. Reece for lumbar facet injections. I had waited over a month with back pain for this appointment. I drove down 1.5 hours from Baltimore and had my spouse take off work since I was told I would need a driver. I arrived early to the appointment at 0915. At 1015, I inquired how much longer the provider would be, as we were already 15 minutes past the appointment time. I was informed Dr. Reece had not yet arrived. As of 1045, I was rescheduled with a different provider for next week and Dr. Reece had still not yet arrived. This is HIGHLY unprofessional and I am hoping the Department Head of the clinic holds Dr. Reece accountable for failing to show to his scheduled appointments. This is causing me to live in pain for additional time and is costing my spouse another day off work to bring me back next week. I overheard several staff commenting how this was not unusual for this provider and was recommended to not schedule morning appointments… with him going forward as it is an ongoing issue. That is entirely UNACCEPTABLE and reflects poorly not only on your clinic, but just compounds the scrutinization of military medicine in general. His lack of reliability has consequences to his patients. I was hoping for pain relief, I now have to wait longer. I lost productivity at work by being here instead for no reason.
