Dr. David Mark Rekar, MD

Dr. David Rekar is an internal medicine and family medicine physician with expertise in hospice and palliative medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency at Allegheny General Hospital. With 46 years of medical experience, Dr. Rekar brings extensive knowledge to caring for patients across all stages of life. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Tagalog.

Dr. Rekar practices at Universal City Medical Group in North Hollywood and Regal Medical in Glendale, California. His clinical focus includes managing high cholesterol in children and teens, treating high blood pressure, and addressing lipid disorders. He performs diagnostic procedures such as abdominal and Doppler ultrasounds to help identify and monitor various health conditions. Additionally, Dr. Rekar incorporates physical therapy approaches into patient care plans.
