Dr. David Antonio Rodriguez, DO

Dr. David Rodriguez was my Dr for a long time. He was very good and knowledgeable but didn't run any kind of tests for me. He just prescribed 120 meds a month. There were problems at AS. However, I got an eye opener from him at SPM. He was awful and tried to adjust my meds in a drastic way without good explanation! He failed to warn me of long term health risks for long term patients! For example, I am now dealing with all of these health issues like congestive heart failure, ulcers as in plural that I just got diagnosed with, CKD, etc. I have no history of smoking, drinking, or doing drugs(illicit) and though I can't 100% say the meds were the reason they can cause these problems. He should ensure that long term patients be regularly checked for these issues and do a better job of preparing the patients for the risks of long term use. These are serious problems. I was born with heart murmur which also makes me more susceptible, but I'd encourage long term patients to pay… attention to these issues He was kind at AS but not at SPM. These are all issues he should council patients on. The risks rather than just prescribing the meds. I'm not saying he doesn't have great qualities as a Dr, but he has a different side to him others should keep in mind. I'm glad I was able to know him before SPM.

Dr Rodriguez was my dr for almost 8years! Overall, he is very talented and knowledgeable but I saw him at American Spine and Smart Pain management now Clearway Pain Management! While there were issues at American Spine, he was my favorite Dr because of how he knew and understood me! I tried to continue seeing him at smart Pain management and I did not like my experience here at all! He even yelled at mee because he had patients who couldn't get in to see him because of my emails! He handled the situation very badly and I would not recommend Smart Pain management now Clearway Pain Management to anyone! Staff was also rude! There are issues I am choosing not to write about as well!

Dr. Rodriguez is very compassionate with patients, especially those of us who are in severe chronic pain. He has an amazing bedside manner. He has always taken the time needed to discuss with me all of the disc ruptures in my spine (I have 4) that have been found on my MRIs, and he even took the time to look at the MRI of my brain, in order to fully understand the influence of my Multiple Sclerosis on my pain.

Dr. Rodriguez has treated me for several years. He has a great bedside manner, knows his patients' bodies through thorough exams, and has a whole-person approach to medicine. Could NOT ask for better.

Dr. Rodriquez, provided care for my husband and I for six years. We suffer from bone degeneration with a painful combination of bone spurs that stops your legs and feet from movement. We were able to return to a normal life style ( somewhat ) with the expertise of Dr. Rodriguez. Since loosing Doctor Rodriguez, who Moved On, we know our luck is up. My husband and I are back to square one and actually been advised so from the facility. "In the past five months, my husband fell , requesting the shots to raise bone on bone. He is still waiting and using a walker for the first time and I dread being stuck in a chair again, it's not a life. So, if you are in need of a Professional who truly takes care of his patients, I highly recommend Doctor Rodriguez. It takes time for studies, but you will get end results. "OH he actually studies the MRI's, not the tech's note". That makes you or breaks you !

Dr. Rodriguez was very compassionate about my problem and spent a very long time discussing options and diagnosing. I would highly recommend this doctor. Wait time in office is usually a little long.
