Unbelievably, almost shockingly rude.

Dr Schwartzenfeld recently took care of my family member at one of the facilities he goes to. He made sure to comfort my mother and answer my questions every step of the way. He even went out of his way to call me after every time he visited my mother. Dr Schwartzenfeld was available 24 hours a day every single day if I needed his support. Would highly recommend!

A rating of 1 is generous. He is rude and shows no empathy or concern for his patients. While my father lay dying in his bed, the only words this “hospice-certified” doctor said to me during his 30-second visit was, “Your father has a few hours to live.” Then he walked out of the room and left me sobbing.

"Dr" Schwartzenfeld must have skipped the "bedside manner" portion of his medical schooling. My loved one is a Hospice patient, whom he berated. He was extremely unprofessional and made her remaining days fraught with terror and distrust of the ENTIRE medical community. I have NEVER witnessed a more insensitive doctor, or human being in general. I understand that the medical community is extremely over-taxed and underappreciated. However, this Doctor does NOT care about his patients, because they are often in a situation where he thinks they probably won't rate him, because they aren't physically able to, or sadly, will pass before having a chance to rate him. However, his patients have family and I hope that this review assists someone else. In all seriousness, AVOID Dr. Schwartzenfeld. The absolute worst human being and doctor I have EVER come in contact with. Absolute disgrace to the medical community.

This guy has no business having a job. He has 10 reviews now with less than a 2 star rating. Honestly, how is he employed? Learn some manners and have a sense of professionalism. Please avoid him at all costs.

My 90+ yo mother recently moved into a new assisted living facility and our experience with Dr. Schwartzenfeld was as others state below. He barely acknowledged my mother, changed medication without letting us know which sent her into a downward spiral and took two weeks to get back to her normal, when asked to ensure he issue an equipment order right away so she could function at the new facility it took weeks to get finalized which created unsafe transfers for both their staff and my mom. Took 6 weeks of trying to make this work before I said enough--this isn't going to get any better and changed doctors. Would definitely not recommend him to anyone.
