Dr. David Lee Sessions

In 1968 our daughter was very ill with high temps, projectile vomiting, screaming in pain. We were advised to take her to Dr. Sessions office. We were so fortunate to have this loving doctor assigned to us. Great care was given to our 3 week old daughter. A spinal tap was taken and diagnosed her to have spinal/ meningicocle meningitis. Dr. Sessions led us to the hospital where she stayed for 2 weeks. While in neo natal intensive care, they finally got an IV into her tiny vein. Her temp stayed up for quite a few days and it was an if or when she would recover. She was allergic to penicilan so they put her on other antibiotics. Dr. Sessions was so delicate and kind to our 5# 3 oz little girl. He told us the facts so we could make the necessary calls to our families and priest. She is now 54 and has some sight and hearing issues along with some brain damage from the days and days of high temps. She had scarletina as a teen and thyroid cancer at age 21. Things have come hard for… her but we still can enjoy her after the fine care that Dr. Sessions gave her. Some times life does not seem fair but then an angel comes in our path and helps us. We appreciate you diagnosing and follow through with her care. Thank you will never be enough to give you for our daily appreciation for her care.
