Dr. David Reid Shapiro, MD

Dr. David Shapiro is an ophthalmologist who has dedicated four decades to caring for patients with eye conditions and vision concerns. He earned his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and completed his residency training at UC Davis Medical Center. Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Shapiro has developed deep expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye disorders. He provides care to patients in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Shapiro practices at multiple Shapiro Laser Eye Center locations throughout California, including Montecito, Ventura, and San Luis Obispo. His clinical focus includes treating glaucoma, cataracts, and elevated eye pressure. He performs comprehensive eye examinations and utilizes advanced diagnostic imaging techniques to evaluate the retina and other eye structures.
