Dr. David Shin, MD

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication from this doctor. It has been over three weeks since my lab work, and I still have not received my test results. Despite multiple attempts to follow up, my calls have not been returned. To make matters worse, the doctor falsely documented in my chart that he called and left a message—which never happened. This experience has been incredibly upsetting and inconvenient. A patient should never have to chase down their own doctor for important medical information. The lack of follow-up and transparency leads me to question the procedure he performed on me and whether it was done correctly. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone and will make sure to share my experience so others are aware of this unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. Patients deserve better care and communication than this.

The staff that works in the office is awful especially the Latino guy he doesn’t have courtesy or patience with the patient he needs customer service on how to talk to patients I hope you take my advise otherwise you will lose customers

I experienced the poor experience many others have written about. I would not recommend the office.

Dr. Shin is great, but you'll never get their office to answer their phone. Waiting time is roughly 1.5 hours like everyone says. I recommend everyone to stop going here until they get their crap together. You'll spend a lot of money here and be treated like sheep. Again, the Dr is great but the office is run by potatoes. Go ahead and call, watch how long it takes.

I have to say that Dr Shin made my first experience as comfortable as possible. Dr shin and his staff are true professionals. This was my first kidney stone and it went as smooth as possible. I wiould recommend Dr Shin and be comfortable doing so.

A horrible experience and doctor. It's fast food "care", as Dr. Shinn is literally trying to walk out the door and leave the room while I'm trying to relay key symptoms and ask questions. This, after a wait of nearly 2 hours (they didn't have the pull-down time option for such a long wait above). Adding insult to injury, three weeks after the appointment, I have STILL not heard back from the doctor (despite repeated calls) to discuss the results of a cytology test that had to be sent out, and my continued discomfort. The office staff is equally arrogant, fighting the patient when they call to obtain their medical reports.

The only reason we chose this office is because they work with our IVF doctor and I do work in a busy office myself so I know the ropes. The Original appointment was scheduled in the morning but The reminder call gave an afternoon time. I called to figure out why but The staff had no explanation as to why it was changed without us knowing. I requested the forms be mailed or faxed to me so I could have my husband fill them out ahead of time- they wouldn't. The worst part was waiting 2 HOURS for the doctor with no reasoning.. I understand if he was stuck at the hospital or taking long in a surgery but 2 hours with no explanation was unprofessional and a waste of us taking a half day of work. But I will say dr shin is amazing and thorough. He is knowledgeable in his field and very professional. He is the only reason my husband will remain a patient.. no thanks To the rest of his staff.
