i took a chance and bought the latest and greatest lens for my eyes after cataract surgery. yes it was expensive and i only had Dr Slagle word. my new eyes are like new getting better every week. the new lenses do away with all glasses. this was the best investment in my self in along time. no more waking up in the night and not seeing. my driving skills r back to 100%. and i look younger. Seeing clearly helps us keep our independence. I sincerely hope you can have the same results as me. Thank you Dr Slagle and staff

Both my husband and I are patients of Dr.Slagle. Not only is Dr.Slagle an expert in his field, but he is kind, compassionate and caring. The staff is excellent as well. It is clear they care about their patients as well, and they are all very competent and knowledgeable. Hats off to this team!!

Very Professional doctor. Explains the procedures and diagnosis in terms that are easy to understand.

I was verbally assaulted by this Dr. He sent me into a panic attack and not once did he show concern for my mental state. He disrespected me, and so did his nurse. After telling me she worked for one of the Drs that rendered treatment after I was blinded. They called it a freak accident. My question is, how do they know details unless they broke HIPPA and contacted the Dr without my permission. One of his staff even made the comment that I "probably wouldn't be coming back" Its a sad state of affairs when this is the medical care we have. He violated his do no harm oath on every level. I still have nightmares about this 7 months later. I asked them to bring my husband back and the "nurse" felt a need to explain why I was crying, which wasnt her place. They were attempting to do damage control. I will tell everyone I can about this experience until they contact me and apologize.

First the staff of administrative personnel were pleasant and professional. Most of the technicians performing tests were the same. IMHO when giving a final diagnosis and recommending a serious treatment procedure the Dr should speak to you in person. This in contrast to relaying the diagnosis and treatment via a technician who hands you pamphlet after relating a few sentences. Then sending u away to make arrangements. The preceding visit he did enter was nice and did part of exam. The diagnosis and treatment given were not even mentioned as possibilities. I’d recommend getting a second opinion or checking other reviews or providers.

I called office the Monday before Thanksgiving and described my eye symptoms. I was given an appt within a few hours. After exam Dr Slagle promptly gave me rxs for necessary treatment. I was on my way to pharmacy within the hour. I am so grateful.

Too rushed and he mumbles so you can understand what he saying. If you ask him a question he tells you his nurse will explain the procedure which she is unable to do.

Slagle botched cataract surgery on my eye. Now endure daily pinching pain believed due to damaged corneal nerves. Endure constant shadow side of view field due to offset IOL and incision placement. Enduring problems focusing and with blurry vision.

Absolutely the greatest!

Slagle is fast (9 min cataract surgery) and sloppy. IOL placed off-center so I see shadow to side. Suffering from constant feeling of having eyelash on cornea, blurriness, eyes do not focus together. Slagle blew off my complaints, stated that my eye was healing. That was six months ago. All problems continue, blurriness getting worse. Going to Slagle is worst mistake I have made.
