Dr. David L Sneed, DO

Dr. Sneed is truly the best! I have been seeing him for several years. Both for medical and aesthetic concerns. He is very patient, listens well and is extremely knowledgeable. I would definitely reccomend him.

Dr. Sneed really took the time to listen to me and create a "plan of attack" for my health. He checked in on me and really cared about me as a patient.

From the moment Dr. Sneed began explaining very complicated bloodwork about ME, in particular, I knew that I had found my medical home. I never looked beyond that. Now, I know I have MTHFR, allergies, abd lipid issues that are pertinent to my health and my life. He also helped me with bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and did not write me off because aI was a 60 year old fighting for my health. This is the office and expertise you will need to be well. they now charge a little membership fee as all stellar physicians do. Dont worry about it - it costs something like a cup of coffee per day. Just do this!

Dr Sneed spent the majority of our visit asking me the same questions as I had answered on the intake form. He refused to use my labs that had been done the week before even though I was assured when making the appointment that he would. He didn't have time for questions and I ended up chasing him down the hall to get my questions answered. He called in a prescription for a newly released brand name instead of the generic I've taken for years. It's 3x the cost and in a form (sprinkles) that I will never use. I haven't had any response in getting the prescription corrected despite both myself and the pharmacy calling their office. During our visit, he spoke really fast, didn't listen to my answers and never made eye contact. When I asked him if I could use an outside lab, he snapped at me that it was my problem to deal with. He was overly focused on selling me additional procedures / labs that were unrelated to my visit. I would not recommend this doctor or office.

David Sneed should have his license revoked. I pointed out an error he'd made and he became vile and said, "You can go to a different Dr. then!" This is the most dangerous kind of Dr. Smart Dr.'s admit when they aren't proficient at something but he claims to know it all!! Frightening!

I have been a patient for 15 years and really appreciate the time and attention Dr. Sneed gives his patients. I never feel rushed and always get my answers answered.

Aging gracefully is easy with Dr Sneed. He helps with balancing your hormones at any age and helping you choose the right dietary supplements. Also in the office is a chiropractor and nutritionist (as well as his medspa). One stop shopping makes it quick and efficient. The office is also new and beutiful.

Like most men I always wait until I'm near my deathbed to actually go to a doctor. I have to say that Dr. Sneed and his professional staff make that visit a pleasant one. I'm in and out and they have me feeling better in no time. I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends.

The entire staff at Austin Family Medicine associates almost always exceeds every expectation I have in a medical office. First, the facility is first rate. It is modern, fresh and makes me feel wonderful about being there. I am greeted with a smile at the front desk, sometimes by Ashleigh, who has recently lost 35 pounds on the in-house detox program. The other nice lady in the front that helps me is named Kim. She arranges for referrals to other offices and questions in the billing. You are lucky if you get into see Dr. Sneed. He helped me get a diagnosis for my heavy metal poisoning (from being an oil painter and having a lot of mercury amalgams in my mouth). From there, I discovered that I have problems with MTHFR (I cannot methylate folic acid), which means that I have trouble with detoxing. Very complicated stuff that must be found out through genetic testing and extensive blood work. Dr Sneed totally understands true wellness and helping people to age to the best… of their ability. The nice part about this, is that he is teaching his staff his same methodology of practicing wellness medicine. The PA, Charisse Soller, is smart, cute, caring and all that you would want in a practitioner. She is able to do well woman or help you with allergies (I have Ragweed) or any other medical issue. You can count on her. Lisa Dawn, also a PA, also has a full schedule because she has been there a long time. She is very well versed on blood analysis and bioidentical hormones. The new doctor, Dr Andrew Dale, is very nice and is a total sports enthusiast. He is very thoughtful and has a great sense of humor and high integrity. The thing people need to understand after reading some of the other reviews, is that medical billing is now very complicated, and, there is just a lot more to know about your genetic makeup and your body than there used to be. My own father was lost to a heart attack at a very early age. I don't want my life to go in the same way, so I get extensive and diagnostic blood work done twice a year. I do highly recommend this clinic as being the highest level of medical care in the Austin area for adult wellness medicine, cardiac risk factor analysis, well women's care, nutritional advice and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.

A total lifesaver if you are trying to be your healthiest self
