Dr. David Brian Stein, MD

Was a patient at this practice from adolescence well into my 30s before deciding to move on after a particularly disheartening experience during my pregnancy. When cooperation between Dr. Stein and my OBGYN was required, I experienced what can only be described as egregiously poor and unintentional customer service caused by the doctor himself. Not sure if what I experienced was the haphazard care so commonly shown to African-American women or a more generalized ambivalence to patients and patient care. Andrew Shiflett, a PA at Commonwealth Primary Care, is the one bright spot in the practice. Both myself and my husband found him to be attentive, patient, thorough and genuinely concerned with the care of his patients. Unfortunately, I need to be able to rely on high-quality care from both the PA and my PCP, so I am not able to recommend this practice and most specifically, this physician.

My family has been seeing Dr. Stein for over 25 years and he absolutely a wonderful and caring Doctor.

Great service, friendly, and most of all listens to me when I explain my needs for the visit.

Don't expect much from this doctor. He spreads himself thin because he has too many patients and conducts himself in a manner that leads you to believe he does not care.

If you're struggling with depression or anxiety, do not see this person. He does not care about helping people, is very rude, and dismissive of all problems/concerns related to mental health because he is too inept to treat such illnesses.

Dr. Stein has been an exceptional physician. He has worked with me extensively on several occasions. He keeps digging until the issue is taken care of. I am grateful for such a fine, caring physician with a great personality and a heart for his patients. Thank you always Dr.Stein.
