I went to Dr. Steinberg to help with complications from surgery done by another. When he discovered I had no desire for further surgery, he lost interest. I was to have an MRI on both my hand & wrist. When the MRI report came back, he said nothing of my wrist so I asked him about the feedback. He said everything was normal. Upon requesting copies of my reports for visits & the MRI, I discovered he had quite a bit of erroneous information. It made me wonder if he had actually paid attention to me or gotten me confused with someone else. Moreover, there was no mention of my wrist on the MRI report, so, basically he lied. In the reports, he claimed, "...complaints out of proportion to objective findings." Well, if the MRI had also covered my wrist as I had been told it would, then he would have seen that I have a tear in a ligament in addition to a very visible cyst. I have tried numerous times to have the erroneous information corrected, but his staff doesn't return my calls. He is… aware of my dissatisfaction with him so this comes as no surprise. Should anyone choose this physician, please make sure to request copies of your reports & get a 2nd opinion.

Handsome and charming with a stellar educational background rooted in the reputable University of Pennsylvania where he also holds the title of Associate Professor, Dr.Steinberg went onto fellowships at the prestigious Harvard Medical School and renowned Cooper Hospital which is nationally recognized as a Level I Trauma Center. His family background, training, experience, publications, awards and further teachings are only a fraction of what makes him a master of his craft. He is kind and attentive to his patients, thorough with his diagnosis, always taking into consideration his patients complaints and concerns rather than text book , "cookie-cutter" diagnosis based on test results alone. He will spend ample time with his patients, making them feel educated and comfortable, earning their trust for any surgical procedure they may require and rightfully so. His staff is equally… pleasing. I adore his scheduling secretary who always makes my upcoming procedures flow seamlessly. Steinberg is a profound first-rate physician; efficient with follow up visits, prescriptions, therapy and returned phone calls. I have had 2 simple carpal tunnel release surgeries with Dr Steinberg and I have sent two other friends to his care for more serious injuries with tendon damage and another procedure reattaching a partial severed hand & nerve reconstruction. He has shown us all respect and genuine care and we could not be happier with our results! I am grateful I made the right choice for this bump in the road! Just a note to save you an extra trip!!!â?¦. If you are scheduled to have testing such as X-rays, MRIs etc. Presby Radiology dept does not have access to Doctors orders via Epic and you must bring a hard copy with you from the ortho office!
