What are you most excited about in working for The Pain Center of Arizona?

I’m excited to help in this community and work with well-trained physicians. I’m also excited to be a part of a group that is concentrated on working on all the aspects of pain, not just procedures, but working with the entire aspect of chronic pain.

What do you like about treating patients with pain?

Pain specialists are really needed in this community. I think it’s great to help people get back to work or get back to the things they enjoy …doing. Pain can be such a devastating experience that it gives us (TPC specialists) a rewarding opportunity to make a huge difference in those people’s lives.

What is your favorite thing to do outside the office?

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two kids. I try to get out on the golf course as well. I look forward to getting my kids out on the golf course.

Were there inspirational doctors or mentors that you’ve had?

It has been a long road to this point, but one pain physician I had in particular during my residency was a great guy and pushed me to be detail oriented and efficient. He pushed me to take every opportunity, every procedure, and every day as a chance to get better.
