Dr. David George Tylicki, MD

Very professional and knowledgeable regarding pain management regarding the back and knee.

Liked him because he put me on cymbalta. When I seen him he never asked how I got my injury, even when I tried to tell him it was from work, he stated that he cant see repetitious work as the cause of my pain. He said he wouldnt write it up as even a chance it could cause my pain, so that I cant get any compensation through comp. He also stated my MRI through another doctor mustve been a misread, and my MRI through Tylicki was normal. I looked it up and MRI results for buldging disk change with pain, first MRI was bad pain with an MRI to prove it(other doctor), and 2nd MRI, little pain with MRI showing little(Tylicki). His PA is write on the money with her diagnosis, I hope she takes over Tylickis position.

No nonsense Doctor, asks pertinent questions, spends as much time with patient as necessary to formulate a plan. Best laid plans are only as good as the communication brtween Doctor and patient. I find him easy to talk to. Pain management , in my opinion can be trial and error. This can be frustrating fo r Doctor and patient . This can be discouraging, but doesn't mean the Doctor doesn't care. Doctor Tylicki useses medication and or other procedures such as cortisone injections or an epidural, depending on the area that might need this type of treatment in order to help healing.

Nurse incredibly rude and judgemental. Dr doesn't spend a lot of time with you and doesn't care. Will let your issue go on for years only prescribing more and more meds with no referrals to other drs or surgeons. Makes things up to put in notes and god forbid you tell him what he put in the notes from the last visit was wrong, he will flat out call you a liar even though he was the one that made up the info to put in there. Seems like hes hyped up on coke or a couple pots of coffee or something everytime. Just very very uncaring.

Like the others: he's strange; talks fast; writes out his scripts before listening to you.A week prior to my first appointment, I delivered all my the most important copies of MRIs; historical background; all previous meds used; lists of allergic reactions; etc. He had no interest in them. In fact he said, "I make my own evaluations and prescribe what I think will be best." When ordering some needed copies, i was asked if I need the office notes... error after error after error. Stayed with him for 18 mos. and he still is placing incorrect things in his notes even though I told his PA about the mistakes just before he came into the examine room. Be careful. Get copies of his office notes. Check them.--he doesn't want to change them!

Goofy! He is a fast talker. Seemed to want to get patients in and out as fast as possible. He didn't seemed concerned that he didn't receive my MRI reports from past doctor. Hard to diagnose without that bit of info. I could go on and on about what was one of the oddest doctor visits I have ever had so see someone else. Staff was rather strange too but I think they follow his lead. Not a bad man but his focus is off !

The Physician assistant who helped was great! Dr. Tylicki was perhaps knowledgeable but completley lacking in any kind of interest in me. He rapid-fired a monologue about different drugs(maybe he needs to lay off the expresso?) but paid little attention to me or my comments. His exam was extremely rapid and yet he repeated a couple of things. He has odd mannerisms, for example, not looking at me, incredibly rapid speech not listening to what I said. He seemed like one of those commericials in which they read the disclaimers so quickly you can't understand what they said. Sorry, I can't say I'd recommend him.There's a TON of wait time too. Plan on being there for hours!
