Dr. David Ying-Chun Wang, MD

My surgeon at HSS recommended I see Dr. Wang for recurring back pain and epidural injections. My initial contact with his office representative was pleasant. Sarah assured me that once my records were forwarded, she would get back to me promptly to arrange an appointment. For the past two weeks I have not received a phone call, despite many attempts to reach his office. No one has returned calls, so I have arranged to see another doctor. Dr. Wang and his office are atypical of the quality service I have experienced at HSS. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr Wang was one of the most thorough, knowledgeable, caring doctors I have ever met. When you call with a question, he or his superb staff calls back quickly and with answers to your questions. He will recommend another doctor to help you If he feels they can help you. His staff is kind, sweet and go out of thier way to help you which is very hard to find at a doctors office these days. I am so happy to have found such a wonderful doctor!

HSS should be proud to have Dr. Wang on their pain management staff. He. Is one of the reasons that HSS is rated number 1 in Orthopedics. Dr. Wang is an outstanding clinician and conservative in his approach. He treats his patients with respect and understanding. Superb physician, very knowledgeable and experienced, patiently answers all questions, orders appropriate tests quickly, follows up with patient phone calls regarding test results, communicates clearly, high energy and obvious passion for work, excellent reputation in his field, involves patient in treatment plan, a "human being." Staff is professional, helpful, pleasant, and efficient.

If this man could be cloned, the world would be a better place.
