Dr. David Alexander Wang, MD

I saw Dr. Wang twice last month after a fall. He diagnosed me and took excellent care of me. He spent a good amount of time explaining my injuries and follow up care. I found him to be caring and attentive. I would recommend him.

I was very impressed with Dr. Wang. He did a thorough assessment & evaluation of both knees that had been diagnosed as arthritic. Xrays were taken & more views were taken than at a previous orthopedic doctor. Dr. Wang showed me the xrays, so I knew exactly the extent of the arthritis & where it was. He was very informative, discussing risks/benefits of both cortisone & gel injections & what I could expect. He was clear to say it depends on the individual - some get great results with the gel injections while others do not. There is no way to predict that. He discussed incidence of reactions & why he prefers to use the products he does. I was very impressed. He was kind, caring, & reassuring & stressed his approach is non surgical which is exactly what I wanted. He emphasized we cannot cure arthritis, but we can manage the symptoms. It is possible at some later point knee replacement would be a consideration but not now. We developed a plan of care. I will be continuing my care with Dr.… Wang.

Said I should have knee replacement surgery after my first injection of cortisone because it didn't last at least the 4 months he said it should. Consulted with another surgeon and we found a different approach to try as goal is to do the best to avoid surgery at this point.

Took great care of me. Had me back on my feet after a severe ankle injury. Very good listener and very kind. Highly recommend him.
