Dr. David W Warren

I
received my dental degree from New York University Dental School.
I served in the United States Army Dental Corps for over 3 years
and was honorably discharged, attaining the rank of Major. I then
went on to complete a two-year post graduate orthodontic speciality
study program at Tufts University's School of Dental Medicine in
Boston, Massachusetts. I have practiced orthodontics successfully
in Miami-Dade for over 25 years.
I
have good standing memberships with the American Dental Association,
American Association of Orthodontics, Southern Association of Orthodontists,
College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists, South
Dade Dental Society and the South Florida Academy of Orthodontists
where I served as President. I also am a member in good standing
of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society.
I
am currently a consultant to the Veterans Adminstration Hospital
where I treat patients and train dental residents. I am a courtesy
staff doctor for Jackson …Memorial Hospital. I have been honored
by the South Dade Dental Society as it's "Member of the Year".
I am invited to lecture to local dental societies, the Southern
Association of Orthodontists and have been a round table moderator
at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting for
several years running.
I
have written numerous technical articles for the prestigious America
Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, the Journal
of Clinical Orthodontics and for other orthodontic trade publications.
I
am married to my long time sweetheart, Stephanie. We work together
in my office, but before coming to my office, Stephanie was a middle
school American History teacher; I am glad she is now here. I have
one daughter, Samantha, who attends a local high school. I enjoy
Tennis, SnowSking, Hiking and general exercise as well as Photograpy
and Reading. In my office you will find some of the many photographs
of wildflowers, animals and scenery I love to capture.
