Dr. David Stanton Whittaker JR., MD

I have been a patient of Dr Whittaker since 2005, He is the most caring and competent physician who listens to you, gives thorough examination and effective treatment. His service is so extra ordinary these days, where majority of Doctors are working for a Hospital or an institution, which requires minimal time for an office visit. I am a retired physician who started practice in 1960 and appreciate therefore the way Dr Whittaker practices his specialty. I recommend him very highly and the Boone community is very fortunate to have such an outstanding Physician

Dr. Whittaker is marvelous and everyone who has dealt with him surely knows that. What a gentleman; what a doctor!! My comments are for the manager of this practice, Ms Beverly Marsh. I preface my remarks by saying I am a retired physical therapist with a varied background including a private practice. Therefore, it is easy to get excited over excellence of an atmosphere. The staff members at Boone Dermatology are professional, caring, pleasant, courteous to patients and to each other. I could not ask for a more efficient and informative nurse than a lady named Jessica with whom I dealt this morning. Everyone is prompt to acknowledge, instruct and appreciate the patients. As long as we have been Dr. Whittaker's patients, we have never had undue waits nor have we left an appointment without fully understanding what, why, when and how. All of the above does not "just happen." It is evidence of good management and supreme cooperation of the staff. We are grateful and will… continue to recommend this practice to others.

Dr. Whittaker is someone who listens to his clients and takes the time to solve problems. He is very bright and yet will simplify complex concepts. He is pleasant and acts as though he has all the time in the world.
