Dr. Davin Mitchell, MD

I've been to several pain doctors. Dr. Mitchell was the best by far. He appears to be more knowledgeable than most. He also takes the time to explain the condition your ailment is in.

I visited 3 times seemed to be ok doctor. However your time is not important to this practice. I literally waited 2.5 hours and for the last 30 minutes of my wait I could hear them having a staff meeting and general conversations outside my room door. This while I had been very patient assuming he’s handling a medical crisis, treating someone etc. but no it’s after 5:00 pm ( I arrived at3:00pm) After blocking about 15 business calls during my wait I thought maybe they forgot me so I opened the door and told them I had been waiting hours and had to leave doctor just glanced up and said bye, kept right on talking to his staff. I’m nobody special, don’t get my feelings hurt easy, don’t feel like I deserve to be treated differently but it is extremely frustrating to realize you have wasted an entire afternoon and your time mean absolutely nothing to this practice I have never given a review in my life. I finish with this, If you have all day you’ll probably like them. Otherwise I would go… somewhere else. I regret wasting my time here. I guess they forgot exact same service is only a phone call away

The staff was expert at service an helpfulness. Dr. Mitchell is wonderful at listening to what a patient has to say and following up to provide relief to the problem. I moved away for 4 years and when I returned he knew right where my trouble was an where we left off in the treatments.I highly recommend him and his staff. We need more Drs like him.

I was a patient in alot of pain. I was there for a procedure and a follow-up. When i got there, there was one of the Employees there, i believe her name was LaQuasha, greeted me with a smile and a good morning. My procedure was at 8:45 and my follow-up was at 10am. I was able to go for my follow-up first seeing that it 9:30 and still had not had my procedure. I walk-ed in the back for my follow-up with the nastiest attitude seeing that i thought this young lady was going to be like the rest of the office staff, rude and unprofessional and AWFUL like that Office Manager. This young lady brighten my day. She took the time and triage me with one of the best attitudes i have ever seen in this office, not to mention her characteristic was very nice and welcoming. After i left the follow-up with her, she made sure i was okay all the way up until i left from my procedure. I love the way she was professional and courteous and caring for me during my visit. By far the best visit i have ever had… there since i started coming in 2014. I wish the rest of the staff had her personality and professional skills, especially that Office Manager.

Are you freakin kidding me?!?! 8am appt. along with 6 others, waiting room FULL of patients (2 rooms to hold us all) with appt between 8 & 9 and neither doctor gets there till after 9! First come first serve! They say it's not but when patients appt is after yours yet they get seen first because their name is first?!? I actually waited so long one morning (8am appt, left at 10:45) I got applauded by the waiting room when I finally left! What does that tell ya!

Dr. Mitchell is a wonderful doctor, it's the office manager whose awful and has a very nasty attitude and may I add doesn't know a thing about billing. A recent visit proved that! I immediately contacted my insurance company who agreed that I should not be paying an 1100.00 bill. My advice to customers check your statements because I don't think Dr. Miller knows that his office manager has a nasty attitude and she needs to go back to school for billing and coding!

Been going here for years only because we have no other option here in LaGrange. Haven't seen Dr. Mitchell in over a year, he passes you off to a PA after he has done every costly procedure at his disposal! They force you to get expensive shots, that are not effective, in order for you to get your medicine! They are not proactive, just profit reactive! Office manager has some SERIOUS control issues and lacks ANY interaction skills! If your pain level allows you to venture out of LaGrange, I'd strongly recommend it Once you sign the pain contract you can't get any help for anyone else and are trapped in their for profit routine. They show no compassion for you as a patient or your condition!-

IT WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

The staff was nice, they took me directly back due to me having cancer knowing my immune is compromised and let me do the new patient form in the actual room...A+ for them! Dr. Mitchell is the worse doctor I have ever seen!!!! Don't waste your copay or time! First I did move here but it was time for my morphine refills, Second I did have valid Georgia license, I also used to live here for 10yrs when I worked before I was dx with advanced stage cancer, now I am terminal...Yes, he sent me away with no pain regimen whatsoever...Said he wanted to give me prescription based on my liver function well he didn't know I went to a liver specialist, a G.I. doctor before him....as soon as my lab work was back in (((G.I. doctor said liver enzymes was normal and liver function))) by this time I was two weeks no pain relief living in cancer pain!!!! Also, withdrawal from a 4 year daily Morphine and Methadone (as needed on Methadone) ... I left voicemails that my labwork was in, could I come pick up… my pain script?? Also, I did bring 3 MRI's, 2 bone scans, 1 doc referral letter from my previous doctor....Never got returned call....Called went off, wanted to talk to a live person! Nurse promised to call back...4:58 pm they were gone, no call back and another weekend in Cancer Pain, Fibro pain, Rotor cuff with tendinitis, 14 herniated discs/54 degree curved spine with bone spurs/arthritis from spine to feet, bone degenerative disease!!! Cruel and inhumane pain!!!! I warn anyone in true pain even with proof STAY AWAY!!!! If he won't help me who will he help???? Finally after exploding the nurse called Monday stating he got the liver results but will not write me anything until I get to a new cancer doctor (remember that is a wait!!!) he would not even give me a temporary script. When I asked him what I was to do? He said, be in some pain!!!!! He asked more about my move like how long you been here, what month did you move....He asked nothing about my conditions nor looked at me! I promise the positive review he is paying friends/staff to write (I would bet it) He had a God complex but knew nothing!!!! Lied, 1st said his concern was for liver, then gave another excuse....ANYONE that lets a CANCER PATIENT SUFFER!!! Should be avoided completely!
