Dr. Dawn Renee Elliott, MD

This is a horrible Doctor. She is arrogant and un-approachable. During my session with her I felt I could not even speak to her. She should not be anywhere near a Veteran.

Real shallow provider … sold her soul to money… real sad

Bad attitude. Acted like a police officer trying to catch me in a lie. It was awkward and uncomfortable. Was incredibly close to walking out. It was as if almost everything I said "she didn't believe". GTFO out of veteran affairs if you don't feel like dealing with it.

Dr Elliott did 2 surgeries on me and I was very pleased with both of them. She is very caring and professional. She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease with my operations., She assisted me with my post-op care. She had a great bed side manner. I will go to her again and I would strongly recommend her to family and friends. Her office staff was also very infoirmative and a pleasure to talk to.

I had an amazingly good experience with Dr. Elliott. I was in a really bad medical situation and she pulled me out of the fire. I highly recommend her.

She listens carefully, asks detailed question so she can better understand your situation. But most importantly she looks at the patient as a whole, not focusing on her specialty area alone.

When no other doctor would take on a hernia "redo", Dr. Elliott delivered on her claim of specializing in hernia repairs. For six weeks doctors did NOT want to take on a repair that might open a Pandora's box of complications. Dr. Elliott speciizes in this surgery and uses the daVinci robotics that allows patients to be up and on their feeti withn 2-3 days after surgery. For me, it was a second surgery in as little as 6 weeks, so it took a while longer. Doctor Elliott demonstrated to me the kind of confidence that patients need; none of the hestiancy or tentativeness that other doctors have shown due to manufacturing products failing, or false claims by patients, that only hinder the system just for a buck! I have nothing but praise for The Tucson Medical Center, Saguara Surgical Associates and their staff, and especially, Dr. Dawn Elliott who showed the courage that I wish most doctors had in their medical tool chest.
