Dr. Dayne T. Mickelson, MD

My husband and I went in to see Dr Mickelson after I had been struggling with my left knee pain for about eight years. Dr Mickelson listened to our concerns and goals for the future. After evaluating my x rays and doing a brief exam , we all agreed that a total knee replacement was the best course of action. I was contacted by the surgical scheduler who helped me get all the necessary appointments needed for pre op. Once the day arrived we were greeted by the office staff and quickly checked in. The nursing staff was very attentive all through my recovery. Dr Mickelson even checked on me before I was discharged. The whole experience went great !!

Went to see him after I got my shoulder dislocated. Staff were friendly and prompt with their stuff. Doc Mickelson was great. Pleasant, efficient, thorough. Spent a bit of time talking and getting to know me but was also prompt with his work. Verbalized his assessment while performing, which to me helped solidify his diagnoses and decisions on what to recommend for treatment. Solicited opinions and asked if there were any predefined goals for rehab (e.g. return to swimming, rock climbing). Gave me recommendations for timeline of rehab and provided another referral for PT. Overall great doctor, would recommend.

Dr. Mickelson and his staff are always friendly, compassionate, and knowledgeable. 18 months ago I had a partial knee replacement and Dr. Mickelson explained that a partial replacement was all I needed at the time (All other treatment options had been exhausted.) and I am so happy I put my trust in him.

I’ve been dealing with knee pain, though not terrible, for many years. It recently has turned a little worse, so I went to him to build a strategy to prevent it from getting further degraded. His prescription for physical therapy and a knee brace seems totally appropriate. Thumbs up on the treatment I received.

Follow-up visit for rotator cuff repair went great. Dr. Mickelson took the time to explain where I was in recovery, what I could expect in the next 3 months, and answered every question I had!

Dayne is a great doctor who kept me fully informed throughout the process of repairing my arm broken on the job. I was concerned about having surgery rather than a brace and Dayne did not pressure me but gave advice and facts then allowed me to make a decision which I now know was the right one. He has always been receptive to my concerns and was never dismissive of even small pains, though did inform me when they were not significant. I fully recommend Dayne.

After fighting leg pain for two years, Dr. Dayne Mickelson diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes. I am looking forward to getting my left hip replaced.

For several months I struggled with daily pain in my shoulder and arm after damaging them while trying to help my kids move. After trying numerous things I finally sought help from Dr. Mickelson. He gave me all my options and after thinking it through, I chose surgery to fix the tear. The surgery went well and Dr. Mickelson helped design a PT plan to get me back to full use of my shoulder. He worked with my physical therapist and kept up with my progress. When I went in for follow up visits he knew exactly where I was on my road to full recovery. Everything worked by the numbers.
