Dr. Dean Dewayne Blakeley, MD

Dr. Blakeley's office goes above and beyond the medical service you get elsewhere. The office building itself needs updating but when was the last time a doctor asked you about your current symptoms, asked more questions to genuinely make a diagnosis based on what the patient says and an exam? I can't recall having ever been to a more thorough doctor. Having said that- he won't send you for a bunch of tests unless they are absolutely necessary. I first went to him because he was highly recommended by a neighbor and I'm so glad I did! That was ten years ago and since then he's seen our whole family for sickness and physicals when needed. You won't see a PA or nurse practitioner here. I highly recommend.

I saw Dr. Blakeley for many years. Due to my husbands job moving us to different states, I am forced to find another Doctor..I have been to quite a few doctors since, but i haven't found any doctors who actually listen to what your saying, take into account that the meds you are on, aren't helping, just giving you more problems( sluggish, nauseous,etc.)He is one of the few who will work with you, even if it means digging into the old not as commonly pitched meds, if it helps you feel like you can be human again...not a bump on the log...I would give anything, if i could find a Dr. Blakeley here..He was always helpful, not rushing you out to get to his next patient, very thorough on the meds he prescribed..knew how to talk to you about your meds and problems using common language, not all medical Jargon ...He is missed, and those that have him understand how lucky they are...Thank You Dr. Blakeley.
