Dr. Dean Robert Schueller, MD

1 star is being very generous! He is condescending and arrogant and also very unprofessional with how he speaks to patients. And to make matters worse is he doesnt seem to know what he is doing either I feel as he was guessing.

Dr. Schueller brushed off my concerns with ongoing pain in my shoulder as a result of a fall two months ago. If he spent more than five minutes with me, I would be surprised. I ended up seeing a sports medicine doctor a U of M who took my concerns seriously. As a result of the U of M intervention, my pain has been taken seriously and has been reduced. I do not take being brushed off lightly. As Eleanor Roosevelt said--the only way someone can walk over you is if you lie down first.

He was an excellent Dr. Explained everything I asked about. Was very professional throughout the process, I would highly recommend him . Very caring.

this doctor was the rudest, most arrogant, sarcastic, disrespectful, Dr. I’ve ever encountered in my life. I wouldn’t care if he was the best surgeon on the planet- I would never set foot in his office again. No one should treat patients the way he talks to his .

No bedside manner and very rude. Would never recommend him

i never was able to walk correctly after the hip was replaced. many months of rehab. still have pain in the pelvis and after going to another for the other hip, found that the leg was 2 inches longer, balance is way off.

Dr schueller had me on downhill skis 2 months after an achilles repair. After 3 months I was able to ice skate, and do light plyometrics and light jogging. He was also pleasant and listened to my concerns.

If I could give this guy zero stars, I would. Two years ago, he did my mother's hip replacement surgery. He was rude, dismissive, and arrogant. As it turns out, he did her surgery wrong. Over the last year, her hip came out of place at least 4 times. After consulting with another doctor and having x-rays and a CT scans, it was determined that it was put in at an angle that was 20 degrees off causing the hip to be unstable and pop out of place. She has since had the surgery redone (by someone else) and is having to go through physical therapy all over again.

He drew his own conclusions without reviewing the various tests. He was dismissive about my knee pain and very demeaning. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

He was unable to diagnose a very common problem I was having and, after my second visit, became somewhat condescending and dismissive. Another Dr. identified the issue on the first visit and after following the plan he (the other Dr.) prepared for just four weeks, I am now virtually pain free and back to enjoying life. I spent three months in significant pain and a few thousands dollars on tests and treatment that were unnecessary because of Dr. Schueller. This "Dr." is to be avoided.
