My daughter has complex general and neurological health issues, many stemming from childhood cancer treatments. Dr. Briggs always takes the time to answer all of our questions. Her straightforward manner is appreciated

Scheduling is a nightmare. No one ever answers my call. I receive a call back about 10% of the time. Appointments are 3 months out with zero leniency. I've had to reschedule a few times and I have now officially been kicked out as her patient. Unprofessional is the most kind word I can think of for Dr briggs' business. These reviews confirm my feelings

Very belittling.

After being referred to Dr. Briggs by the Epilepsy Foundation I thought it would be a good idea to get my daughter in to see her. But that was not the case. After submitting all my daughters medical records for review by Dr. Briggs we finally received a call stating that we could finally schedule an appointment. So we did. And that appointment got pushed back by an hour. 3 hrs before that appointment, the nurse called to say that Dr. Briggs was in surgery and was not going to be able to see my daughter and we would have to reschedule. *I'm mad already* So we reschedule.... thinking everything is ok. Mind you that a friend of mine already requested time off from work to take her to the first appointment that fell through. Now this 3rd appointment, well the nurse called me 1.5 weeks before hand to cancel once again. Why schedule a patient if you are not going to have time to see them? What is the point of having to schedule an appointment if you are going to keep cancelling on them?

Our first visit was longer than normal due to our son's history, Dr. Briggs was courteous with respect to our needs for our son and willing to give us the extra time. Her focus on his condition, potential diagnosis, and initial treatment was professional over personal. We enjoy personal time from a physician however we prefer professional and patience consideration when time is relevant and Dr. exhibited all. We are very hopeful for a long term relation with Dr. Briggs for our son.

I called with the complaint of double vision and Dr Briggs wouldn't even grant me an appointment, she wouldn't see me at all. Granted, her specialty might not be with this particular complaint, but I think the right thing to do would be to see me or at the very least, refer me to somebody who could help, not just refuse to let me have an appointment
