Dr. Deborah Ann Calhoun, MD

Dr. Deborah Calhoun was born and raised on a farm outside of Seattle, Washington. She attended Stanford University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1989. She returned to Seattle to attend the University Of Washington School Of Medicine and received her Doctor of Medicine degree there in 1994. She then completed her residency at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California in 1997 and continued to work at Kaiser in the pediatric clinic following residency. She started working at Desert Valley Pediatrics in 2003 and left in 2007, when she moved to Switzerland with her family. Dr. Calhoun returned to Desert Valley Pediatrics in 2011. As a mother of five, she loves working with children of all ages but particularly enjoys helping new parents with the challenges of breastfeeding and newborn care.
