Dr. Deborah Anni Cherry, MD

Excellent Doctor. I have to say that she get's right to the point, which I think is rare these days. I appreciate her candor and have been a patient for over 10 years.

I have been going to Dr. Cherry for many years. She has always listened to me and treated me with care and kindness. I like her in MDVIP because she Called me after a weekend when I had a problem to make sure it was solved. After I was in the hospital and called for an appt. She saw me in two days. She has more time to see each patient.

Impersonal and unresponsive to my needs.

Dr. Cherry is the best doctor I have been to. She always listens to what I have to say, and immediately puts me at ease. My overall experiences with her have been great, and I will continue to go to her until she stops practicing or until I am gone.

I wanted a doctor who wouldn't waste my time and would provide quality care and I found her in Dr. Cherry. I have a few health issues and Dr. Cherry helps me manage them appropriately. Her manner is professional and to the point without being uncaring. She is an excellent listener and is empathetic. I have recommended her to all of my friends and several of them have gone to her and really like her. She does seem to deal primarily with older people and judging by the comments made in the waiting room is very well liked. I don't know where some of the other reviewers are coming from. They must have been having a bad day themselves as this certainly doesn't sound like the professional staff I have always dealt with. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Cherry

Four visits within 2months , I saw her once during one of these appointments for five minutes. The only time she touched me was when she shook my hand she didn't even put her stethoscope to my chest. Her pas did everything including the diagnosis. Two cat scans an MRI and regular X-rays . My diagnosis included tumor in chest, tumor in liver , liver biopsy, and back spasms. This was over a two mo period in which my legs swelled up I couldn't even put my shoes on, I could barely breathe , I could not lay down at night and had to sleep in a chair because of shortness of breath. I finally had enough and went to another doctor,he diagnosed me in ten minutes after examining me as well as listening to my chest with a stethoscope. He said I had congestive heart failure along with a mitral valve problem . He ordered one simple blood test to see if I had bacteria in my blood. The results came back in five days as positive. As soon as he got the results he called me after work and told me to… get my butt to the hospital. There he ordered an echo cardiogram. It showed that my mitral valve was loade with bacterial plaque and was functioning at ten percent. I had open heart surgery two days later to replace the valve. My cardiologist said I would have been dead in two weeks. How could this have been avoided? I will tell you how! If dr cherry had used her stethoscope she would have heard the regurgitation in my chest but instead she had her girls do all of the work she should have done. Her pas were nice but lacked the training for a correct diagnosis. She should be ashamed or in a different profession. Still angry.

Every time I've gone to Dr. Cherry, she has been extremely caring, always on time, and ALWAYS gives an accurate diagnoses

Dr Cherry takes time with me to answer any questions and to explain any treatment. I have been with her 22 years and hope she is practicing till I'm gone!

This is the worst doctor's office that I have ever visted and I have never made a comment like this before. While it was easy to get an appointment for a female doctor which was important to me, the receptionist was absolutely clueless, handing me the billing authorization form when I walked in as a new patient and telling me to sign it first. I asked about the new patient information sheet and she rudely replied that she was getting it ready and for me to have a seat. I waited for about 10 minutes, then asked for the forms again and was told to make a co-payment. Her supervisor was on the phone the entire time, until the receptionist ran crying to her that I so terrible to her! Totally unprofessional behavior. Avoid this office at all costs judging by the other comments about Dr. Cherry herself and the assistants that do the work for her. I was told that my appointment would have to be cancelled because this woman was so upset. Ridiculous!

I found Dr. Cherry to be very cold and condescending during my office visit. Her support staff tends to be much friendly, but very poor with lab results follow up. The issue I saw Dr. Cherry & her staff for is still unresolved. I feel that I received inadequate care and diagnosis.Although I very rarely see a doctor, I will be searching for another doctor rather than visit Dr. Cherry's office again.Although they are very slow to file insurance claims, they are very quick to collect.
