I just want to give a HUGE praise for Dr. Distefano and her staff. I dealt with itchy,crusty,watery eyes my whole life until I had the blepharoplasty surgery. What a relief! I can actually carry on normal conversations with people without the bothersome eye annoyance. I can't thank them enough for making this type of surgery available. I would take a pizza to their office if I could get off work. 5 stars

I could write a million things here, but I think it says it best to just tell you to RUNNNNNNN as fast as you can in the opposite direction from this Dr. And her partner. You would run if you truly value your eyes.

I would like to start off my saying that Dr. Distefano and staff are wonderful and very professional. She has taking care of my family for many years, and I myself has had lasik by her. Dr. D is very thorough and precise, and she always has looked out for my care. I had to go back several times for testing because my eyes were dry, and she wanted to treat my dryness because the laser can make them drier. I appreciate very much her looking out for my well-being and not just wanting my money. She is by far the best eye doctor in Chattanooga, and always available when you need her. Her staff answers all of my questions and calls me back very promptly, and the time that I have to wait to see her is well worth it. I would recommend Dr. Distefano's office to anybody, and my family and myself will continue to see her.

Dr. Distefano has been my doctor for 10 years. I have never waited more than30 minutes for both her eye care and skin care locations. She is in the top of her field, and I trust all her health decisons. She is one of the most personable doctors I have ever met. She is sincere in her desire to help you in anyway she can. years. I

I decided see Dr Distefano becuase she is well known in town. I liked her manner and she was very reassuring regarding my LASIK surgery. I was told my first appt. would be a 2 hour consultation. I had to take time off work but because the staff couldn't get one of the machines to work it took longer and I had to return the next week to finish the consultation. In all, took at least four hours of time. Scheduled my surgery and the week before surgery received a phone call from the scheduler that Dr. DiStefano wanted to do a different type of surgery. I had never spoken to her about this and asked for the nurse to call me back. The nurse finally called me back two weeks later. She then mentioned another type of surgery and I began to wonder if they had me confused with another patient. Never heard from the doctor about the change. My eyesight is very important and it's difficult to have confidence in such an important procedure when you can't get answers from medical personnel.Dealing… with this office is a waste of time. Decided to get a second opinion - much better experience.

Dr. "D" has been my eye doctor since the 1980's. She's done both of my corneal transplants, cataract surgeries, and multiple other eye surgeries, She has always been courteous, helpful and understanding of my eye problems. No better doctor than Dr. Deborah DiStefano!!!!

I chose Dr Distefano because I thought she was a compotent doctor.I have never been more wrong about anything in my life. My vision is the worst it has ever been. I went to her office for two years after my surgery and all I kept being told was to come back. She finally did another surgery on my left eye, it did not work. Im actually afraid that Im going to lose my vision almost completly because of her.I love to read it used to be my favorite hobby but now I cant even read for long with glasses and my left eye wanders so badly I cant look people in the eye because it is embarrasing.I would not reccomend this ddoctor to anyone and I dont think she should be allowed to practice medicine because she is truly uncaring and incompotent

My family and I have seen Dr. D. since she opened her office at Erlanger Medical Center. We have traveled from Nashville, Tn. since 1987 to see her. She is an excellent and very caring doctor and person. If it weren't for her I would never have had the wondeerful sight I have today. She has also operated on my youngest daughter Kim and now she has excellent vision. We are both teachers and definitely owe it all to her. Her staff of people are caring and very kind also.
