Been my family Doctor for 28 years

Reading the negative review shows me that some people perceive interactions totally differently than others. My experience with the staff has always been excellent. They will work with you, they are friendly, they take the time to listen and be personal (I do crafts and one of the assistant's asked me, almost a year later, how my crafting was doing)..this really shows me that they take an interest in their patients. As for Dr. Debbie, she is kind, thorough, and, even though she gets down to business and is direct, she still is friendly. I feel like I could tell her anything. Sorry that the other person had a bad experience. I find it very hard to believe that the staff was mean to her. I know three other people who see Dr. Debbie and we all love her.

Dr. Debby is very knowledgeable and willing to listen and spend as much time with the patient as necessary. There has been a couple of occasions when my family has not had insurance and we still received the same great care as always as well as the office manager working with us on a payment plan. The office staff is very professional and courteous in all aspects of their job.

I was reading Dr. Debbie Kay's review from a patient who doesn't have insurance and was appalled at the office staff. I have been a patient of Dr, Deb Kay for over 10 years and during that time I have been laid off a couple of times. I have a few medical issues and the office and Dr. Debbie couldn't have been more understanding and helpful with my situation. I would recommend Dr. Kay to anyone. She is a dedicated and very good doctor who is very thorough. And as far as the office staff goes, they have always been accommodating to me and I go and call them on a regular basis.

My name is Jason and I have been a patient of Dr. Debbie's for about 10 years I believe. My wife worked for their practice for about 10 years also. The time that Dr. Debbie takes time to make sure she has a proper diognosis and is one of the many reasons I stuck with her. No matter how small the incident was she would listen and take everything I said into consideration. I have no intention of ever chossing another Dr!

Me and my family started seeing Dr. Debi and Randy Kay in 2005. We have made 3 moves within this time and still kept them on as our primary family physican. The office staff has always been rude. They yell at you, hang up the phone on you and I had a very bad experince when paying my bill for my daughter I was actually reprimanded by the nurse for the spelling of my daughters name that is was a boy's spelling. She did this with my 14 year old daughter standing right there and she was in tears by the time we got to the car. We have logged several complaints about them. My husband had to retire due to chronic asthma and with that he no longer has insurance. I am between jobs so we are waiting on insurance coverage again. Not only are the office staff rude to us now the doctors are very rude. I'm sure it is due to not having insurance. The doctors were always very kind and would run every test in the book and bend over backwards until we didn't have insurance. They didn't even… so much as ask what we could pay or tell us what a visit would cost for treatment so we could make and informed decision. My husbands approval of his disibility relied on the information from the doctors office. They refused to send the paperwork over a $50 bill. They had our phone number and never even called to tell us they wanted it paid before they would send the information. We had to find out from the SS administration working on our case. They said what the doctor was doing was illegal. I didn't want to delay his approval so I just paid the bill and would have paid it had we even known about it in the first place. We don't even owe Dr.Kays office any money but are treated like we are low life. I have a known back injury and when we had insurance she was more than happy to order MRI's pain treatment etc. Now that I don't have insurance I can't get her to refill a script that I will run out of over the weekend and have to spend Sunday in pain until I can call Monday for a refill. Not sure what her excuse will be then. It was for 10 days and Sunday will be day 11. She could of at least called it in and told the pharmacy I couldn't pick it up until Sunday. In addition I need surgery to be able to clear this up and she will not even write the letter of recommended surgery to give to the attorney's to support my case. She said have your attornys sepeona what they need. Keep in mind we are paying out of pocket for all of this. There office staff tells you what your diagnosis is and you never know if they give the message to the doctors. I was recently told the Dr. Randy wouldn't care for me since I was not his patient when Dr. Debi was off that day. I knew this was an out an out lie as I was always permitted to see either doctor of my choice but again that was when we had our wonderfull insurance. We also have a dentist in the MI area that knows we don't have insurance and is still very kind to us and works with us to pay the bills. He understands it is just a matter of time and we will have insurance again but in the mean time he treats us like decent human beings, returns our calls, and does what is needed to help us. It is sad but true that their motivation is money not to truly help someone get better. If so they would treat us the same as other patients and the treatment would have remaind the same even after we lost our insurance. I understand completley that they don't work for free and shouldn't have to. That is not what this is about they have made the choice to treat us poorly. Just make sure you have good insurance if you are going to use these doctors and always be careful of their office staff as they have no sense of compassion or self control and make a habit of lying to the patients.
