Dr. Deborah Lathrop, MD

I was seen by Dr. Lathrop in a UW urgent care facility on two occasions. When first I saw her, I was worried that my troublesome condition was chronic, but she diagnosed and addressed it promptly. To a fare-thee-well! Since that visit, NO RECURRING SYMPTOMS! My second visit occurred during a time of some panic and considerable pain. Um, "discomfort," as physicians now say. It related to (what I believe was) a botched kidney-stone operation done outside of the UW system that resulted in a significant compounding of my original problem. On that occasion, Dr. Lathrop again diagnosed the probable cause of my problem and -- more importantly -- resolved it (then, temporarily) to my GREAT relief. Certainly, a step in the right direction. But she didn't stop there. There then came her important, unsolicited follow-up treatment! She coordinated my extended care, working in concert with other physicians, so as to eliminate that difficult problem entirely over a protracted… period. Again, PROBLEM SOLVED! I have found Dr. Deborah Lathrop to be entirely competent in her care, and thoroughly professional. More importantly, she is always "up-beat" and friendly, trying to do her absolute best, being extremely generous with her time. Otherwise put: she fits in very well with nearly all of the UW healthcare physicians and nurses with whom I have come into contact. The service I have been given by Dr. Lathrop and her colleagues is greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!
