Dr. Deborah A Sedberry, MD

We've been going to Dr Sedberry for about 10 years. She's a great doctor and knows her stuff with regards to learning difficulties. She has been having some issues of her own the past couple of years and an appointment may be an elusive thing to get. So for the quality of care I would give her 5 stars but definitely less for the ability to keep appointments.

Her assistant called the day before confirming we would be at our appointment. We said yes. The morning of the appointment we got a call saying the appointment was canceled because she was out ill. The reviews across multiple sites saying Dr Sedberry cancels appointments last minute is accurate and we can attest. Incredibly inconvenient and worrisome for her line of work given the sensitivity of the things she handles. It’s one thing to call in sick on occasion but it appears as if she does it all the time and with little to no notice. Can’t trust or rely on someone like that, especially when dealing with child behavior. Do not recommend.

Waited four months for an appointment. She cancelled the morning of FOUR times with no explanation. Totally unprofessional and disheartening for a parent trying to get help for their child.

Dr. calls in sick more than not.

Very highly disappointed and we already have wasted 4 months in waiting for the appointment and so many cancellations in the last minute.

Cancelled each and every appointment at the last minute, multiple times. Will never use or recommend this doctor again. Obviously a pervasive problem if you read yelp and other reviews on this doctor.

Ill often and cancels appoints last minute at times...

Low quality work.

All she cares about is revolving revenue. Even when it is not needed she would ask you to bring along your kid and then ask for 100 service charge.

I have worked personally with Dr. Sedberry for the past 6yrs. I have referred her to numerous families in the area with positive feedback also. She has extensive experience with ASD. She is familiar with the differenct school districts in the area and their reputation. Her recommendation can be a wonderful "tool" in advocating appropriate services for your child. She has extensive knowledge of reputable ABA, Speech and OT therapists. She is not quick to recommend behavioral medications for children right away. Over the years she has been supportive and open minded to alternative therapies as well an diet and biomedical (DAN protocal) interventions.
