Dr. Deborah F Shultz, MD

I have recently become a patient of Dr. Schultz. I was reluctant to see a new doctor for my diabetes treatment I am so glad that she accepted me as a patient. Not only is she a subject matter expert she breaks it down to understandable terms and course of action for treatment. I am so appreciative of her and her style. As if it couldn’t get any better her staff is AWESOME! From the nurses in the back to the front office staff - always a pleasure! Thank you so much for all you do!

Dr, Schultz has given me a through exam every time I’ve been there. She is more concerned about my health than I am and always dies a follow up. Plus she listens to me.

It is very rare to see the Doctor herself. Usually you see the nurse practitioner which I do not object to unless you specifically ask for the Dr when you make an appointment. The office staff, almost without exception are rude!!! I have had 3 bad episodes in a row now. I am going to describe this last one and see how you feel! I had a bladder infection that started on Sunday but I waited until Monday morning to call. I left a message with the prescription desk and explained that my records should specify that I had very bad UTI's with blood clots in my Urin until I had surgery but this is only my second now in 15 years. The last time was several years ago on a Saturday and Dr Shultz called me from home and called in a prescription for meds that elevated my pain! I waited all day in pain and finally at 4:00 I got a call from someone who was telling me that she sent a referral to the surgeon you are meeting with tomorrow. I said WAIT what about the UTI. She came back and said… that I had to come in and give a urine test. I said that I called in 6 hours ago!!! Why didn't someone call me back and tell me to come in! I immediately went in and gave my specimen and again the office was beyond rude! They were unprofessional! 8 1/2 hours from my first call not to mention Sunday, I have not received medication and if you have ever had a UTI , then you know what I am going thru!!!

Doctor Shultz has been my GP since 1989. She is awesome and her staff are kind and helpful. I would tell anyone that needs a doctor to give her a try she will make sure your taken care of.

Dr Deborah is simply the best. At every visit I feel like family...Dr Deborah takes time to listen, ask the right questions and ultimately make the perfect diagnosis and treatment. This kind of caring practitioner is "scarcer than hens' teeth". I actually look forward to seeing her...like she's a true friend or close family member. Wonderful!

Dr. Shultz is an excellent Doctor I have been visiting her office for over 10 years. I live in Tampa and I drive all the way to Apollo Beach because I think I she is an excellent Doctor and I feel very confortable with her and the way she treats me. She is also very knowlegeable so is her staff., they are all very friendly and know their work well. I feel very confortable.

I have found her pleasant, thorough and concerned. She spends time with her patients and is accessible for them.
