Right after the first visit, they assign you a PA. That PA kept calling for minor issues and asking me to go back, maybe just for charging you and the insurance. I am not looking for a PA. Dumped them. You should be aware of this before you go there.

Dr. Cheaves took the time to listen to my medical history, she really considered the facts of my case, and in the end, left me with clarity of my situation. I was seen at her Johns Creek office and could not have asked for a better experience.

Cheaves was recommended to me by a close friend, who had been seeing her for several years. I loved her right away, and made her my PCP. As well as my husbands. She is by far the best PCP (Any doctor really) I've had. I've been seeing her for 2 years now, with office visits every 1-3 months. Since then, she has switched offices. It's a bit further of a drive for me but defiantly worth it. She is a very kind and caring person. Defiantly not one to diagnosis you then throw you out the door. She takes her time in getting to know her patients personally along with their health concerns. She's also very prompt in her replies, weather it be by email or phone, My appointment's are almost always on time, if not, I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes. I would defiantly recommend her to anyone. The office staff are also very helpful and friendly.

She's not always easy to get an appointment with, because she's gotten pretty popular. I have been seeing her for 4 years, mostly for routine visits, and it has always been a good experience. She is easy-going, sensitive and willing to spend extra time. Her medical advice and treatment has always been very effective, and I recommend her highly.

I couldn't see the doctor I was referred to because she was "double booked"! I saw Dr. Cheaves instead, but she was overbooked by the time I got there too! Patients were complaining about the wait, the nurses were rude, and Dr. Cheaves was rushing around! She said she would test my urine for a UTI and be right back ... I never saw her again! Her nurse took me to get bloodwork done, gave me a CT order and sent me home. I had to ask about the urine results beause the nurse "forgot" to tell me! Then, I expected a call from the doctor to discuss a CT scan and blood results, but 2 days later her nurse called (at 4:50pm) to tell me I have decreased kidney function and a 4.5mm stone that's causing a blockage. She said I should call a Urologist right away and go to the emergency room if the pain gets worse! Isn't this something the doctor should call and talk to me about??? And don't these results deserve a call back ASAP, not 10 minutes before 5??

Very professional, caring and knowledgeable. Took her time,listened to me. Treated me like a person. Only thing I did not like about my visits was her Medical Assistant who was very rude.
