Dr. Debra Tarantino, MD

I would discount those few negative reviews. This is a very warm, compassionate doctor who's willing to spend as much time with you as needed. She will find cures where other doctors have given up. You'll love her and you'll be very comfortable with her.

I have written a review before and I will again to save as much people from making the mistake to trust this doctor. I agree with all the one star reviews, we all share a similar experience- Debra Tarantino is highly unprofessional. Please, do yourself a favor and find a better more compassionate doctor if you are suffering from hemorrhoids. She will give you false expectations about the surgery, and will NOT give you the support or information that you need, she’s impatient and will talk over you when you ask for help- you are literally on your own after the surgery, you’re going to have to do your own research, if the surgery turned out painful, which is what happened in my case, not only did she NOT do her job right (it was incomplete) she also lacks basic interpersonal skills. Her medical assistants (she avoids speaking to you AFTER the surgery so she’ll have you contact only her assistants meaning you’ll have to go out your way if you want to reach her) also underestimate your… pain, it all reflects back to the kind of person Debra Tarantino is If you come to read this far, please take this as a sign to avoid her at all costs! ??

Great clinician? I don’t know , but that didn’t matter after experiencing the horrific human interaction I had with this awful human being. The visit started out by the doctor yelling loud enough at a patient in another room that I could hear every word she said. She then proceeded to enter my exam room by slamming the door and throwing her notebook pad down. The exam was quick , she was rude and didn’t even Answer my questions. It’s people like this that give Physicians a bad name. I am also a clinician and would never on my worst day speak to a patient like she did. Shame on her .

Terrible bedside manner . This doctor couldn’t handle the fact that I had gotten a second opinion prior to coming back to her ,basically kicked me out of her office and told me she refused to treat me because I had gotten a second opinion . this person should not be working with the public .

Experienced, considerate and kind. I trust her and highly recommend her.

Dr Tarantino was my surgeon for a big operation that took place in 2012. She was fantastic, and so helpful and aproachable for everything. I am very grateful for her skill as a surgeon and her ability to conncet with the patient. I worked in healthcare for over 20 years and have worked around hundreds of physicians. She is wonderful! Im in great health now and I have her to thank for that!

Dr Tarantino is very thorough. She talks and moves very quickly, but I never felt rushed. She took the time to take a very detailed history and still took the time to explain things in a way that I could understand. Excellent doctor with a great bedside manner, not a combination of often found in the same person.

Very knowledgeable, considerate, caring. Made me feel very much at ease and reduced my anxieties over my situation. Gave me good advice and probably the most thorough discussion of my long term health issues I have ever had with a Physician. Asked a lot of questions. Provided additional advice. Can't say enough about Dr. Tarantino. I wish more Physicians dealt with their Patients this way. Key point - I did NOT feel rushed.
