Came home to my sister crying because he refused to take his time and listen to her and instead tried to speed through the appointment mind you he was basically ignoring her. I may not be a doctor however I think actually listening to your patient is a key part to being a psychologist or doctor in general

I have two clients that I take to Dr Chandora and he is great with them. His staff is always nice. Our average time is 35-45 minutes.

This office is not in the services of helping people they do not return calls and they do not like to answer the phone. and every comment that you see on here about Julie is totally correct she hung up the phone in my face got into argument with me about the doctor that was never there which my insurance company let me know about that doctor on top of that she's a racist and she has no type of customer service I wouldn't even advise you to call and try to get an appointment with this doctor if you're already having issues is just going to make things worse they are not concerned about the well-being of the patients.

I don't have great insurance, the AHA in Georgia doesn't provide insurance providers that cover much psychiatric, so I was stuck between Dr. Chandora and three others within an hour's drive. The first thing to know is that when you have an appointment with Dr. Chandora be prepared to wait. I know every time I come in I will be waiting upwards of two hours. Looking at prior reviews, this is the way that they choose to do business. A next thing to note: Dr. Chandora will not really listen to what you have going on. He will attempt to educate you on what is going on with your brain and how medications work. While that is nice, I'm not seeing a psychiatrist for a medical lesson, I'm there to help. The most frustrating bit about Dr. Chandora is that it does not matter what you tell him about the medications, their side effects, and whether or not they are helping. Dr. Chandora will always know what's best, even if you've been suicidal for months and what he's prescribed has not been… helping. Please don't waste your time looking for help with Dr. Chandora; you won't get it.

I was assigned to Dr. Chandora in inpatient care and had a horrible experience. I've never had a psychiatrist be so invalidating, aggressive, and rude. I generally respect my doctors, but I have absolutely no respect for this man. He does the medical world no favours.

From the first experience my family and I knew this would be a nightmare. We were greeted by a rude and high unorganized front clerk Judy who literally had a nervous breakdown because she scheduled too many people at one time which she still does on a regular basis. It is very common to be seated and waited for over 2 hours while the front staff just chills. Dr Chandora is equally vile as all he does is through around his education but show no real interest other than prescribing meds.DO NOT GO

So, I wanted to try a new local doctor. Dr. Chandora was on the list for my insurance so I scheduled an appointment. It was worthless, i came early to my appointment but there was still an hr wait. Then when I go in the room all the "doctor" (btw it's not actually Dr. Chandora but maybe an assistant who didn't really give a name) for 10 mins. Of the 10 mins she asked me all of the questions from the form then spent about 3 asking what prescription I thought I needed. The only problem is I'm not doctor? How do I know what I need? Where is the diagnosis.
