Dr. Deepa Kaditam Reddy, MD

Dr. Reddy listens well and takes time to discuss possible next steps for whatever is going on.

My sister went to the emergency room all day yesterday and had tests. They advised her that she had liver lesions and that her primary care Dr. will need to refer her to an oncologist. Dr. Reddy did not even call my sister today to check on her or tell her she put the referral in. My sister called her at 10 am and her front office person called her back at 4pm and said she will have to come in on Thursday to go over results. Dr. Reddy should have called her personally today and discussed this and put the referral in. She does not show any personal care for the patient. My sister is in full blown anxiety. You would think the Dr could pick up the phone. When the emergency room tells you need to go to an oncologist, it is pretty scary and neve racking. I would not recommend her if she doesn’t have the time to even call the patient herself.

I have been seeing Dr. Reddy for about 3 years. She always takes the time to really listen to me. I have never felt rushed when I see her. I have a complicated medical history but she remembers me and my problems so I don't waste time rehashing issues at visits. She keeps up on my preventive health needs. Whenever I email her she always replys promptly. I've been through a number of primary care physicians at Regal Medical Group and she is the best!

Dismissive of my questions and health needs. Visits were very rushed, after a long wait, she would flit in and out of room. I still have health problems that have been persisting for a few years while having her as my physician. Doesn't listen to patient's needs, refuses to give specialist referrals and insists on giving prescriptions for things only a specialist (ENT, dermatologist) could properly diagnose because her methods historically never worked for me. My experience with her is the reason why I feel uncomfortable with doctors.
