Dr. Deepanwita Prusty, MD

I've never had a worse experience with a physician's office. Dr Prusty herself is smart and competent, but her office staff is so rude. The woman who answers the phone is disorganized, and then gets immediately defensive and YELLS on the phone! I waited months for my first appointment with Dr Prusty then for the next one, they had to reschedule me due to errors on their side, my blood work orders weren't put in correctly and I had to call them multiple times to fix, the list goes on. I've been yelled at by the secretary twice - once for asking about a blood test while I was a patient, and once for asking if my medical records were sent because clearly I left that practice (which, was not followed-up on for months after I asked multiple times.) It is so unprofessional, I'm truly shocked. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr Prusty for about 5 years....always spends quality time with me and she is the 1st diabetes dr that I actually like! Would highly recommend and now she has her own practice in South Weymouth which I will follow her to :)

Amazingly thorough, which is why it's worth the lengthy wait in the reception area. Dr. Prusty is also very good about following up with you if problems arise -- calling you at home or at work, even on weekends if she notices there seems to be a problem with your lab work or something.
