Dr. Deji Oluremi Okuboye, DO

Ihave been seeing dr o since sje frist stsrted sheis a great dr telles you like it is and is very nice about thangs but if you have a helth health problum and need to lose wweight sje will praise your hard work

I would NEVER recommend her. I made an appointment to get medicine refills and was told if I did not have a wellness checkup that day the doctor would only prescribe 1 month medicine refills instead of 6 months and then she refused to see me.

I have been going to Dr. Okuboye for several years now and have a great deal of confidence in her.

Dr Okuboye is the best around! But ... If you want sugar-coated coddling, she may not be the Doc for you. If you chronically miss appointments or are late, she may not be the Doc for you. If you want concise answers and accurate treatment/diagnosis ... She IS the Doc for you. I have been a cancer survivor for 6 years and have no patience for politically correct hand-holding. Dr Okeboye offers a healthy dose of common sense that seems to be missing from modern medicine ... ... If your unhealthy lifestyle has put you in danger, common sense says, "do something about it". If you are fat - lose some weight If you smoke - quit smoking This is why some folks may find her bedside manner off-putting ... her common-sense answers are not always easy to hear. ... if you want coddling enablement, you may want to look elsewhere. As an example, if you are overweight and have a weight related malady (like me), treating the High BP, diabetes, and cholesterol doesn't treat the underlying issue. My… opinion is that she'd prefer to see me make the investment to lose some weight and make healthy changes rather than just throwing pills at the symptoms ... Don't get me wrong, she will treat your symptoms with care and concern ... but ... she would rather see you actually get healthy. Treating symptoms isn't always the best long-term healthcare. If you are willing to make the, often difficult, investment in yourself, Dr O is the best doctor I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. In my opinion, doctors that merely throw drugs at symptoms while ignoring the root-cause, are merely "maintaining" ... rather than truly "treating" you. After cancer treatment (where everything was totally out of my control) it was obvious that living out of a syringe or pill bottle was not for me. Dr O allows, and empowers, me to take control of my life and health. Dr Okeboye is a doctor who will care for you while guiding you on the best ways to care for yourself. She is tough, smart and empowering while drawing the line at "enabling". It may not always fun, easy or flattering, but if you want the best care, Dr O is the best!

dont ever make the mistake of going to that woman . she really does not care about her patients doesnt listen to them only runs labs or xrays never follows up with . severely incompetent . tries to force patients repeatedly to take meds that are dangerous does not care at all . never ever go to her wont even try to help patents get the real care they need even when there is documentation of other medical conditions refuses to acknowledge other medical conditions . does not care very apathetic arrogant when confronted by patients that catch her in a lie .....

Dr Okuboye is a "no-nonsense" person who will tell you exactly what is going on with concise advice and counsel. I like that she takes the time to talk to me and research before giving advice. I am under the care of multiple doctors so her attention to drug interactions and my other care is most appreciated. Her practice is well staffed and is a breeze from scheduling to checkout. I have never waited more than a few minutes to be seen. I have never been able to read any magazines in the waiting room! I got to pick one out once, but that was as far as I got before my name was called. I have seen Dr Okuboye every 30-60 days for the last 18 months, so I feel confident that the excellent experience I have had is not a fluke. I recomend this Doctor and her practice highly!

I have been undergoing treatment for APL leukemia. I mention this only to show that over the last few years I have had the opportunity to be treated by more than a few doctors. All have been GOOD! I have forgotten many of their names for no other reason that there have been so many and they just didn't stand out. There have, however, been some stellar Drs that I will never forget. Dr Okuboye is one of these doctors. Others may have saved my life, but she has done more to make me feel better!

I am not sure who would rate this doctor poorly, but the must have issues. She is fantastic!!

Dr.Okuboye is a very kind doctor she is always very patient with me when I am trying to explain what I am feeling she does not try to rush you. She listens to your concerns and she really tries to help you figure out the problem. She is very caring and thoughtful to what you are going through. She makes sure that her patients are cared for in a timely manner and the their needs are met. she has the nicest nurse who is also very kind. I think they make a great team and I am thankful to have found a doctor like Deji Okuboye.
