Unprofessional and rude please do not send your kid here.

We moved to the area recently and Dr. Wright had really good reviews, so I trusted them. I was so upset by the visit we had with our 4 year old son, he is very nervous in new situations and with new people. Without even interacting with him herself, and solely based off hearing a 2 minute interaction with the nurse, the first thing she said to us upon entering the room was “do you think you guys might be playing into how he’s acting?” Not even knowing if our child has any delays or disorders. The rest of the visit she was condescending in how she spoke about how she had raised her kids a certain way and they knew to listen when told to do something. We went to her for her medical expertise, not unsolicited parenting advice and to be talked down to. She then insisted we step back while she does her exam (which I was okay with because sometimes my son surprises me in dealing with some situations well when I don’t think he will), but it went as expected and he lost it, screaming for his… daddy to help him and for the doctor not to touch him, and even after that she continued to try and wrestle and fight with him. After about 10 seconds I stepped in and told her to stop, this wasn’t the experience any child should have at the doctors and it especially won’t help him trust her. Needless to say we will not be going back to her office, I canceled my daughters first appointment with them as well and we have an appointment set up with another provider.

We love Dr. Wright ! She is an awesome Doctor.

Dr. Wright is an excellent doctor!! I would highly recommend her to ANYONE!! Very sweet and she listens and CARES unlike other doctors I have met...

My son has been seeing Dr Wright since he was born (13 years). She is very compassionate and professional.

Absolutely TERRIBLE staff!!! The veterinary clinic treats dogs better than Dr. Wright's staff does their patients!! You have to practically block the door if you have any questions, because Dr. Wright treats you like a number and is in and out of room in 5 mins or less!!!

Amazing Dr. she is always very polite the visits are quick the wait is short, and she is great with the kids. the office always calls us up after to make sure the meds are working for the kids

Dr. Wright is fine until you question or cross her ....then she treats you with total disregard! I have reared 2 children and 11 grandchildren, plus am a vocational rehabilitationist with a background in education and social work. I do know a few things and don't need her attitude!

Prior to seeing Dr Wright for a sick visit for my child, while making an appt over the phone, I was asked if I do vaccinations as a random question. I've never been asked this question in 14 yr of raising my children and taking them to see a dr. My daughter is caught up on all vaccines, however, when we went to the appt, again, I was promptly told that my child would receive 3 vaccines. What? We were there because my child was sick. I reminded the lady at the front desk that my child was caught up on vaccines. I was then asked to pay upfront (prior to being seen for illness); however, I talked her into allowing me to pay afterwards in case my child required any further tests which could add to the cost (I was a self-paying customer). We didn't feel Dr Wright spent enough time with us and then was charged extra for sharing some personal background info for my child. We paid our charge in full at time of visit as a self-pay customer.
