Demetra D. Pappas, MD

Dr. Demetra Pappas, MD, MPH, is an attending physician in the Division of Developmental Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Board certified in developmental-behavioral pediatrics, she specializes in caring for children with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, developmental disabilities, learning disorders, anxiety, and other developmental and behavioral challenges. Dr. Pappas earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at UCLA Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in developmental-behavioral pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is known for her compassionate, family-centered approach and dedication to helping children and families navigate complex developmental, learning, and behavioral health needs through comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
