Dr. Demetri Manuel Economedes, DO

Dr.Economedes recently did my left knee revission. His VERY pleasant easy going manner made my Revision surgery very simple. I had no problems meeting and scheduling with Dr. E. My after surgery appointments all went well. I had a few issues that DR. E handled immediately and I am on my way to full recovery!

Dr Economedes is very good with patient communication and followup with their concerns. Also he seems to have done a very good job with my total knee replacement although I haven't fully recovered yet so I can't give a final answer yet!

I was very pleased with the promptness in getting an appointment. Dr. Economedes was personable and thorough in his examination. He explained everything and was quick to make appropriate referrals.

Dr. Economedes did my knee replacement and, more recently, my hip replacement. He has a very rigorous pre-surgery regimen to minimize the risk of infection- much appreciated. He is a great surgeon and very supportive. I give him my highest recommendation.

I've been seeing Dr. Economedes for more than a year now. He did my first hip replacement and everything went great. He has programs set up that ensure you're well educated. He gets your PT set up ahead of time and home care. This is far beyond the care my sister recently received. I'm now preparing for my second hip replacement. He listens to you and is personable as well as very professional. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Economedes is very thorough and takes his time with his patients, seems to be always behind schedule due to that but well worth the wait. He doesn’t push you into surgery and I like that about him.

Dr. Economidis took time to talk to me review my past history and didn’t jump right into “let’s do surgery”. He took a very conservative approach and I appreciated that. We reviewed treatment and future options. Excellent care.

Dr. Economedes was very thorough in seeking to determine the cause for the pain I have had for some time. He explained clearly what he had determined and also answered my questions very readily and thoroughly.

Dr. Economedes, has been my Orthopedic doctor for hardware removal, total knee replacement and continuing care. This was after wonderful Dr. Armour put the shattered pieces of my tibial plateau and ankle back together in late 2018. Dr. Economedes is excellent, he listens and has provided continuing care for issues with the leg. The issue for today was muscles in my left thigh of the TKR were spasming.This issue was not caused by the TKR. Apparently it's time for some PT assistance and tune up on gait. I cannot recommend highly enough the doctors named in this review nor the front office staff or the XRay tech at Cary Cardiology, Morrisville office. However this also goes for the Cary Office. Since I have not used the Holly Springs office I cannot address that location. However I would be surprised if they were less than excellent, I know I will be treated courteously, listened to and in excellent hands with the knowledgeable, highly competent and professional team with Cary… Orthopedics.
