Since 1992, Dr. Demetriades has been director of the USC Division of Trauma and Surgical Intensive Care Unit. This is an American College of Surgeons certified level I trauma center and one of the largest trauma programs in the United States. With more than 330 peer review publications, 6 books and 60 chapters, he is one of the most published trauma surgeons in the United States. Dr. Demetriades has also participated in more than 300 invited lectures in the United States and 27 other countries and is part of editorial boards in 8 journals.
